Backup SG and third PG. Allows Kennard to head to Grand Rapids.

Galloway can shoot it from distance a little bit. Probably a bad defender.

I imagine this is most of their MLE. Can grab a 3rd center with the other 1.3 million and they'll basically be set.

Jackson/Ish/Galloway

KCP/Galloway/Kennard

Morris/Johnson/Gbinjie

Leuer/Harris/Ellenson

Drummond/Boban/*****

I think you can say goodbye to one of their big salaries in that case.

I guess it's also possible they think KCP wont get near the max.

story I read about the signing said opponents shot 2.5% worse when guarded by Galloway so maybe not.

I don't really get it.

He is a PG that can kinda play SG.

Not sure why you don't get this Del...it was exactly the kind of thing Stan said he'd do. sign a 3rd PG with a majority of the MLE and spend a minimum on a back up C.

These pod-casters love saying things like "they should have paid this much" as if that was going to get the deal done, just because they decided that was the value. How many players sign with teams not named Cleveland or GS sign for their actual value? It's a league of overpaid players across the board with occasional exceptions.

Anyway, he's only 25, and the bleachre report guy seems to think he has a good future so he's got that going for him, which is nice.

Because a third PG doesn't cost the full MLE.

They cost $2M like Beno did. If this is just a third PG move, this is awful.

nobody overpays for mediocrity quite like svg.

if they really lose kcp because of this then they should be fired.

They could trade one of the forwards for a big man and a draft pick.... especially now since Galloway can play the 2. Stanley could exclusively play the 3.... which is what we've been saying on here for a long time

Why can't they offer the max? don't the have until June 2018 to get under the cap?

Honestly, that was news to me. I would need to read up on it more.
