Hey, fair enough.

I might see where you are coming from if this was a game between the Marlins and Braves or if I played for the Mariners. But, given neither of those situations are occuring...Dyson is a terrible human who should feel bad.

I admire the passion.

Are people really upset about Dyson bunting in the sixth inning against a guy who struggles to get through six innings?

You play to win the game, not to help the other team.

Edit: And that is probably going to be the result.

why doesn't McCann just go out on each pitch and settle the sign? What they are going through here is ridiculous.

And JV does not get through 6. 15 straight retired, no QS. Terrible stat anyway...

Still an encouraging game from Verlander though.  That is the best he has looked in a while,

It will still suck if it turns into a loss. Considering they need 3.1 from the BP that's all too likely.

Of course it will.  Losses are always bad (except for draft geeks who want them to lose to improve their pick!)

Shouldn't have used a dead guy. Ruined everything.

It will be easier to see in the charts after the game is over, but my impression there in the 6th is that he got away from mixing his pitches the way he was earlier.

At game. Verlander looked damn good. Don't know what the **** happened on that pop up. Wind has died down. Perhaps Iglesias lost it in lights. This would be a gut punch loss.

I think he lost it somewhere. Right after he was looking up at something. Could have been like how did I miss it, but it seem more like stink eye to the light/cloud that made him lose it.

Disagree with Lloyd. Miguel is swinging and  missing on strikes, not balls. His Z-contact is down more than his O-Swing is up.

I'm not worried about Miguel's skills declining as much as I am worried about his health going forward. I think that if he was healthy, we'd be looking at .300/30/100 for another few years.

It's been covered before but at some point Miguel will have to compromise with his hitting style and give something up. I don't know if that is now or not.

Rant, rave. Be sad, angry, laugh.

This team is pathetic. Their aging lineup is so one-dimensional and inconsistent. Their starting staff has actually shown some life, but like every single year their bullpen is a ******* mess.

Ausmus will fall on the sword. And that sword might be heading his way here real soon. This stretch has been terrible.
