A couple of efficient outs limit the damage to Verlander's pitch count.  17 more for the inning for a total of 55 through 3 IP.

Who was the guy in the booth with Mario and Rod? Was that another Ilitch?

VMart has come to life of late.

Not sure if Francona didn't shift because of last night or the runner at 3rd, but with a typical VMart shift that RBI single is an easy out.

I thought Cabrera couldn't hit the inside pitch?

It's the glasses. Now he can see it.

I have no idea, I have Dan and JIm as an overlay on MLB.TV, walking around doing house chores, walked into the room at the end of the inning and he was on the screen for a second before they cut away.

Collins seems to be cooling off tonight.  Perhaps Aducci pushed him around a bit in the clubhouse before the game.

Hmm. Have he and SVG ever been seen together in the same place and the same time? Maybe there is a scoop here.....

Kluber out after 3 innings and 55 pitches. Could be an injury.

Or it could be getting knocked around. Take him out before it gets worse/save some pitches for a night where he is better

Or an emotional breakdown.

The only legitimate reason for pulling Kluber after three innings is an injury.  Only in a strange alternate universe is a hurler pulled after three innings, five runs, and 55 pitches. You need to leave him out there until he's allowed seven or eight runs. Maybe nine.
