The wallpaper on your phone or tablet says something about you.  What are yours like?  I've had photos of my children, of vacation spots, works of art, Miggy. I change mine once or twice a month. My previous one was a winter scene that lasted two months, a record. The newest one is from the promotional material for the film starring Scarlett Johansson, "The Ghost in the Shell." I like that it's really vivid and dramatic.  Among other things.   I usually use my own photographs or ones posted by friends, but this time I cheated.

My favorite movie of hers is the one where she is an alien that devours men. Weird *** movie but I really think she did a great job.

I have two and they are typically stay the same for very long stretches. Both are photographs I have taken over the years.

The first is the wallpaper on my normal home screen for my phone. It's a pretty simple picture I took at spring training several years ago.

The second is the background of my lock screen for my phone. It's a picture of my Grandfather in front of the wall at the USS Arizona memorial in Pearl Harbor. The picture actually captures the entire wall with my Grandfather alone in front of it, but has been cropped to fit the phone screen. This is one in a series of 5-6 I took that day with him alone at the memorial.

Yeah mine has been the same for about 3 years...the first day we brought the twins home I took a bunch of pics.  I have one where they are on their bellies sleeping...they are like 6 days old in the pic.  I have not changed it yet.

Who the **** uses Yahoo mail?

People who sign up for things that result in being added to multiple lists or have relatives who forward every freakin' thing they find on the internets.

I've had mine since 97 or so. It helps filter out the junk.

I had a Yahoo email that I used for junk that I signed up for in '98.

Just last week I deactivated it. **** Yahoo.

Now I use my Comcast email for junk.

I did that a couple of years ago when I was thinking about switching to a different ISP.  Signed up for Gmail accounts. Only sent the new one to the people I actually wanted to have it.  The rest still go to the old one.  I check it like 6 times a year.  My life is much more peaceful as a result.

It took me about a month or 2 to really filter out crap from my inbox.  Get an email that is not something I want?  Unsubscribe.  Do that about 20 times a day for a couple months and BAM.  Clean inbox.

I still have a yahoo account.  I still have my first ever AOL email account (although I cannot access it because of PW issues and them not letting me reset it as of yet) I think I have about 1200 unread messages in Yahoo.  I have not actually checked it or deleted anything from it in a long time.  I went and checked after reading this thread just for the heck of it.  Still some old stuff I kept in personalized folders back to 2007.

This thread just sent me down a 2 hour rabbit hole of looking through old emails I had saved from various women back in the day. To be 29 again....
