New logo and new arena. Great. Can we get some new players now and do the things that actually matter, like winning games?

no.

Would you guys trade

SJ, KCP and Harris

to Washington for

Beal and Porter?

Would Washington?

Yes, as much as it pains me to say it.

And no.

Not a terribly unrealistic proposal there, although it's hard to see Washington shipping off their best 2 scorers beside Wall

I'm all for trading Drummond.  But doing so for Kanter is giving him away for pennies on the dollar.

There is a reason Kanter is a 20 MPG backup who dropped down to 9 MPG in the playoffs.  He is awful on defense and can't guard the perimeter.

That sounds familiar :)

I agree, it is low value because of Drummond's rebounding ability.

What does a potential Drummond deal even look like?

I would be interested in a Drummond-Kanter swap if OKC is looking to deal

WTF?

Another guy about his age. On a huge deal and underperforming.

A change of scenery trade.

Mozgov and Russell intrigues me. Crap contract, but you aren't changing your cap space and you get a young guy who can shoot, pass and play multiple positions(and probably not defend any of them)

LA doesn't really have any size, is likely drafting Ball and  they could put a lot of shooting around him.

Drummond is highly overrated. I think you'd be surprised on how little he would fetch in a trade.

Maybe Charlotte in some sort of Batum deal?

Phoenix for Chandler plus a young player and/or picks?

Rudy Gay plus a young player and/or picks? They have Skal,WCS, the Greek C plus 5th and 10th picks this year. Gay is expiring

Boston of course. Would Minny pair him with Towns?

I doubt I'd be all that shocked at all, but Kanter is even worse.

I would consider that.

totally the same thing...except completely different. But it's that positivity I love in you so much that makes you think a reasonable trade for Detroit is to trade our 14 and 14 guy for a 15 and 6 guy is a good idea. Must be that 20% improvement in FT shooting that makes it such a good deal.

i would do that.

if youre the lakers, would you trade your #1 this year plus randle or something similar for jimmy butler, then sign paul george next year and run with butler, george, and russell?

or would you rather take ball at 2, do that trade for drummond (maybe thrown in another salary for the pistons to eat or the late first they have this year), and sign paul george?
