I think they could build a pretty attractive package around Harris this summer.

Good scorer on a real nice contract that is actually declining in price the next two years.  He's only 24 and as a first option would be a 20 PPG type guy.  He does little else on the court, but teams are always willing to overlook that if a guy can score.

Package him with SJ and a 1st round pick and that's not bad.  You get a guy who's established, still young, and on a decent contract.  A young guy with potential and a pick, or two if needed.

Yup. Not sure who the player is though. George would be interesting of course.

I think the Lakers will make a strong push for George, they have the assets.  If they don't draft Ball, I see them putting on the full court press for Westbrook as well.  With Magic now in charge, I expect them to go Big Whale hunting.

A game behind Chicago for 7th.

2 game cushion on Miami and Milwaukee.

A depleted Pelicans squad tomorrow, Philly without Embiid, Chicago at home.

Need these wins as we approach the final stretch.

I'm not convinced that this team wouldn't be better with a chance at the lottery than as the 8th seed.  However, I do understand the theory that playoff experience can be valuable.  With that in mind, how far up can they conceivably climb?  They still have two games against Chicago and one game against Indiana.  Nothing left against Atlanta, and maybe they are too far up the seedings to catch anyway.

I'm hoping they get the 7th seed. The games against Boston have been really good this year.

Here's the thing.

In the lottery they are probably picking 13th or 14th with a 1.5%-2% chance of moving into the top 3.

In the playoffs they are probably picking 15th-18th.

So outside of a miracle, There isn't much difference in where they will be picking.  Might as well go have some fun in the playoffs.

A Pistons-Celtics series would be a lot of fun.

If Stanley continues to play the way he has played recently, I think Harris is moved this summer for a guard to go with Ish off the bench.

Harris/Clarkston swap?

I think Detroit is getting good value there for the most part.

I just think with them trading Williams, I doubt they trade Clarkson.

True, but I think they're lining up to draft Lonzo Ball.

Maybe a sign and trade for Hardaway! Assuming his deal isn't going to be massive.

Harris would be a good fit in ATL. Bazemore and Millsap could help cover up his lack of defense.

Using the eye-test, Indy seems to have a pretty light schedule, so I don't think we'll catch them unless they implode down the stretch. Chicago is a possibility though and if we want any chance at even picking up a game or two in the first round we have to get out of the 8 spot.

Wanna know why Boston doesn't have a chance of winning the East?

Cleveland, Toronto, and Washington score 122 points per/100 When Isaiah Thomas is on the floor.

Boston just has to dial up the 'score 123/100' strategy and they're golden

Indiana loses. Pistons still just 2 games out of 6th.

They really are lucky that the bottom of the east is so bad.

Golden State played the worst game I've seen them play in a long time tonight.

Bulls take them down.

Pistons 2 games out of 7th. That game on Monday is going to be important.

Is the pistons finishing 9th in the east the worst possible season for this team?

If so, should svg be fired?
