I bet Dr Phil wouldn't want a 31 yr running back whether he is a creep or not

What is Dr. Phil's time in the 40? Maybe he could get 6-8 carries a game, be an elder statesman in the locker room, and teach his teammates how to discipline their children gently.

Can Dr. Phil even be used on all three downs? Will he bother to even block in the backfield?

Whether Dr. Phil blocks will depend on the conditioning of his stimuli.

Is it gonna be willing to hit the weight room?

Detroit Lions sign DT Jordan Hill

Quote

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed unrestricted free agent DT Jordan Hill. Contract terms were not disclosed.

Hill (6-1, 291) enters his fifth NFL season after previous stints with the Seattle Seahawks (2013-15) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2016).

Originally drafted by the Seahawks in the third round (87th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Penn State, the Harrisburg, Pa., native has played in 31 career games and totaled 50 tackles (31 solo), seven sacks, one interception, five pass defenses and four fumble recoveries. He also appeared in two postseason games with the Seahawks in 2015.

I like hill. He's another cheap gamble. Had a nice run for half a season in 2015 with Seattle where he looked rather dominant

Lions re-signed DE Armonty Bryant to a one-year, $855,000 contract.

It's a minimum-salary benefit deal. A situational pass rusher, Bryant served two suspensions last season, one for violating the PED policy, the other for violating the substance-abuse policy. Then he finished the year on injured reserve. Nevertheless, he tallied three sacks in five games. Still only 27 (in May), Bryant has the inside track to a 53-man roster spot.

Sound like a decent deal. Hopefully he stays healthy and out of trouble. Really could use an edge rusher and he was solid when he played last year.
