There you go defense.  Let's go get some first down and points.  Have to be able to extend the field.

Seeing those PFF rankings really puts into perspective how bad our front 7 has been.  I don't think a single player was ranked in the top half at their position, and a couple were like 2 spots from dead last.  On the other hand the secondary looked good, all four guys were in the top 1/3 of their position.

Have the Refs cheated yet?

they could have called a hold on the Lions punt - a Packer had a pretty clear handful of Lion's jersey, but it didn't amount to anything.

The last 60 years have nothing to do with this year.  It' s a fact.

Maybe not for the players but I would say it does for the fans.

I'm surprised that Al Michaels didn't describe that last play as: "Aaron Rodgers surprisingly doesn't convert on 3rd down, unlike how he so often has done throughout his brilliant career".

Jesus.  Tate breaks free for what would be a touchdown and Stafford can't make the easy throw.  Not a good Stafford and the offense.  He just isn't as accurate since the injury.

Now some of this is Mayhew being mayhew, but here is our DE drafted this decade (last one before the 10s, was Alama-Francis in the second in 2007. And its not like we've had some studs at the spot allowing us to look elsewhere)

Willie Young, 7th 2010

ZIggy, 1st 2013

D. Taylor, 4th 2013.

Larry Webster, 4th 2014

For a position requiring two guys on the field at all times and usually a pretty good rotation of 3 and 4 seeing some snaps, you'd think we could draft a few more at the spot. But, nope.

That's pretty insane.  It's such an important position on the field too.

What a rotten ******* call against Tate.  Only against the Lions will that get called.  So ******* obvious.

Then JBC runs an awful draw play after the penalty instead of the bubble screen, which he calls on the 3rd down.  Refs strike again.

That happens on nearly every play, never gets called.  Dez Bryant got a full face mask last week, no penalty.

That was an obvious push off.

I hate the 2nd down call though, too conservative.

Call was fair - the dumb part was he had him beat and didn't have to push him.

EDIT; as was noted.
