Achomlishments.  Intentially.

For a hundred million Americans, that's just part of his charm.

What going under the radar is that Trump just circumvented congress and authorized $8 billion in arms to be sold to Saudi Arabia. Remember, Trump authorized a Muslim ban since these countries are so unsafe but notably left off Saudi Arabia which accounted for 15 of the 19 9/11 hijackers. Pompeo also made it a point to refer to Iran as the Islamic Republic of Iran. Saudi Arabia may very well be the closest follower of Sharia law in the Middle East. This also comes after Saudi Arabia had an American citizen whacked.

It's not just Trump though.  We have been bending over backwards to help Saudi Arabia for years.  Who cares if they promote terrorism?  They are profitable.

Woke Joe is far more certain than I am on this. But, anecdotally, I've heard something to this effect twice this week. Both from people who are not resistance type

I've heard this from Trump voters who are concerned about "socialism"

Thank God this administration is incompetent and lazy.  Think of the damage they would do if they knew what they were doing.

Everytime LittleFinger tweets Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain” plays in the background.

I hope she’s collecting royalties

Thread.

If anyone not named Trump cavalierly dismissed a Kim firing rockets, there would be **** to pay.

But because its Trump, no one gives a ****. And countless excuses will be made.

I think it's clear how Trump has operated his entire life.  I don't believe he can read or speak or think intellectually beyond the level of a third grader.  He's not dumb.  He just hasn't developed himself because he never had to develop himself.  He also has developed no moral compass.  He never needed any of that.   He was born into wealth and learned at a young age that he can do anything he wants as long as he wields his wealth and power.  Almost nobody stands up to wealth and power, so he just keeps doing what he wants.   It's amazing what people let him get away with.

Trump's acumen as a real estate developer, or in construction... on display in his (for now) current position as U.S. President (actual article is in Washington Post, this is just a description of what it covers (corruption, cronyism, wasted taxpayer monies, etc...)):

https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2019/05/trump-border-wall-contractor/590242/?utm_medium=offsite&utm_source=yahoo&utm_campaign=yahoo-non-hosted&yptr=yahoo

Quote

Trump has repeatedly pressured the Army Corps of Engineers and the Department of Homeland Security to award a contract for building a wall at the southern U.S. border to a North Dakota company headed by a leading Republican donor.

Quote

...the shortcomings of Trump’s attempt to bring private-sector techniques into government. It shows his tendency toward cronyism, his failures as a negotiator, and the ease with which a fairly primitive attention campaign can sway him. At heart, though, what it really exemplifies is Trump’s insistence on placing performative gestures over actual efficacy. And it is a concrete example—almost literally—of how the president’s violations of norms weaken the country and waste taxpayer money.

Even though it is mathematically impossible, there is somehow less than zero chance that any Japanese official, let alone numerous officials, told him that.

I forgot to mention that he's also a proven liar.  Seriously, that really doesn't sound like something a Japanese political official would say.

Hey, it was Pence who laid the wreath at the T.U.S. today on Memorial Day.

THAT MEANS TRUMP HATES AMERICA AND HATES THE MILITARY

(Just replaying the thoughts of a few years ago when the black guy was Prez)

yeah - the idea that any Japanese would gossip with a Giajin, and an idiot one at that, seems beyond farfetched. Trump is actually taking advantage of Japanese reticence knowing they won't contradict him in public like a westerner he lied about would.

Further, Trump is tremendously unpopular in Japan.  Just his behavior norms in general are abhorred culturally.
