I thought Coco was excellent.

It was brilliant. I think it's my favorite animated movie ever. But so much of the movie really hit home with me. Reminded me very much of when I was a kid.

Same here. I remember getting stuck in the afterlife and having to find a way back.

I meant growing up a poor Mexican kid who could sing really well. I was able to transform myself into an old white guy who can't.

Molly's Game was pretty good. I'm a Sorkin freak so bias alert for sure. That said, it was Sorkin's directorial debut and the shots were certainly rough around the edges compared to say, The Social Network.

Watched it today. I really enjoyed it but I wouldn't put it ahead of Toy Story, Big Hero Six, Moana, Inside Out, The Incredibles or Home. If I really thought about it, I don't think it would even crack the top ten. However it was enjoyable and well done.

Home? Can’t say that one did much for me.

All of my poker friends (so far) really liked Molly's Game, so the feel of the movie must have been pretty legit.

I like it in retrospect because of the animated series that is on Netflix right now. It's hilarious.

See, I didn't get into any of those movies. Moana was really good but I'd much rather watch Coco. It especially isn't close with the others you listed.

The poker scenes were probably the best shot, they made sure to bring you into it.

It isn't even showing here.

I wanted to check it out to see how many string raises they show.  Sorkin is pretty anal about reality so my hope is he cut that BS out.

I enjoyed Blade Runner 2049 a lot.  Its not for casual sci-fi fans or kids.   Denis Villeneuve is a great director.   There were moments when I felt like i was walking through a portrait gallery soaking up the vision he had.  If walking through a portrait gallery is not your bag, you should stay away and concentrate on treating that hole in your heart that doesn't allow you to appreciate genius.

I liked Blade Runner enough, but it still not a movie that I tend to go back to very often. It’s probably been 10 years since I have seen it. I will watch the new one when it is available on iTunes probably.

I guess if I find a reason to watch the original in the near future, it may prompt me to go see the new one in the theater, but it just seems unlikely to happen.

As I expected, I never got around to watching the original again while 2049 was still in theaters. But I purchased both on iTunes last month and carved out some time and watched them more or less back to back.

It was really nice to watch the original again. For a movie that old, it still holds up remarkably well.

But 2049 was a damn masterpiece. It had pretty much everything. Can’t wait to watch it again.

I've watched it again a couple times.   Joi is a cutie.

I feel like they handled the poker pretty well, idk if you ever saw it. I can't remember if it had this flaw or not now, but its the absolute worst thing to watch on TV lol

I was happy they didn't have a single string raise.  I was unhappy with how little of actual poker they showed.

Kinda what I thought. Decent scenes, not many and not very long though.
