Thanks for the tip but we are only doing five rounds !

Ogbah, Le'Raven Clark, Killebrew so far.

Rankins, Lawson, Dodd, Conklin all taken before me in round 1. Didn't manage to trade down.

Was  between Clark and Cravens in round 2.

I kind of feel like less people took QBs, WRs early and RBS in general over what really will happen and I suffered because of it. Waited for a DT but people were drafting them like crazy and there wasn't value in any round. Even just now I'm pissed because Hargrave got taken in front of me at the top of the 4th.

Make sure to grab LT Dominique Robertson in the 6th or 7th if available. Kid is going to be the gem of the sleeper class.

Haeg is my LT sleeper

I guess every center drafted in the first round over the last decade has been a pro bowler, that was an interesting stat I heard on The Ticket at lunch today.

I just think this team has more pressing needs than a center at this point. Plus, I don't know that the value of having Ryan Kelly at center, versus upgrading a position elsewhere, is light years better than the value Nick Martin, Jack Allen, Graham Glasgow or Max Tuerk bring to the table. Sure, Kelly is better than those guys, but there are other positions where the guy we could select is significantly better than his alternatives. I'm not going to get mad over anything Bob Quinn does, short of selecting Hunter Henry, so I'll just role with whatever happens. Kelly though, wouldn't be who I would pick by any means.

See, I'm in a different camp on one part. I think the gap between Kelly and guys like Glasgow and Allen is huge.I'd also add

- We haven't had a C that was strong strong against the run while being able to pass protect since Glover.

-Swanson is the worst player on our OL IMO

-Stafford seems to struggle most with up the middle pressure

- Kelly can call protections. That was a bit of an issue last year, and its a nice option to have at the least.

Kelly and a mid round OT works for me. Get 2 DLs and a safety in between. Sign Cromartie and we're good to go :)

Even though I'd prefer a pass rusher or trade down I'm thinking Quinn and the Lions make the rather vanilla pick and go with Decker.

So ....

Do we use Tulloch for a pick or trade up or whatever ?

If if so what is his value if anything at all ?

I doubt Tulloch's value is much higher than a 5th or 6th round pick, if that. I would certainly attempt to trade him, but it's doubtful you'll get much.

If we could get a 5th or 6th that would be awesome. Not impossible I suppose. BUffalo or SF maybe?

I hope we aren't holding on to him because of Levy uncertainty.......

They have been very tight lipped on the Levy front, which does have been a bit worried. I can't recall running across an update on him since the seasons end.

Looking at mock drafts with the 2nd round included, the following players seem to be available for the Lions to take. Keeping your vote above in mind, who do you select in the 2nd?

1. Emmanuel Ogbah/DE

2. Germain Ifedi/OT

3. Jaylon Smith/OLB

4. Jeremy Cash/S

5. Jonathan Bullard/DE

6.  Karl Joseph/S

7. Kenny Clark/DT

8. La'Raven Clark/OT

9. Nick Martin/C

10. Shon Coleman/OT

11. Tyler Boyd/WR

12. Vernon Butler/DT

13. Other

Ogbah regardless

Tonight I'm looking for one of Ogbah, Jones or Dodd realistically. If Myles Jack or Reggie Ragland fall to us I would be awful tempted to draft one of those two.

I'm not a fan of Dodd. Ragland scares me as well and I don't see him as a need. I 'm not sure I could pass on Jack. Ogbah or Jones would be huge wins.

Reggie Ragland would be a huge elevation to the Lions run defense, which took a step back last year. The guy isn't going to be a middle linebacker, chasing guys down all over the field, but he'll stuff the inside running lanes and can cover in the flats. I'd take Ragland if he fell to us for sure.

The only way I do that is if Levy is toast. We crushed the run down the stretch when Ngata got healthy and Levy is a huge add
