Maybin will be the primary CF. Gose will be primary LF or 4th OF.

Collins will not be on the team.

Ryan Raburn will come back and platoon with Gose. And hell, why not? He, too, is the devil we know.

Just going one by one

Cespedes. I don't think the Tigers are out of this at all. I think they are waiting to see what another team will be bidding.

Collins/Maybin. I can see Maybin platooning with Gose a bit, but I don't see this as the final solution. I do think Illitch will spend more

Davis. Been a few rumors. Boras client, but I'd only really buy it if Miggy was a year or maybe 2 from being a full time DH. I don't want to see this guy as an every day RF.

Fowler. This is the guy I would love them to get because he's a real leadoff hitter. He seems to have a little pop, but that could be Wrigley Field pop. 11 of his 17 home runs were at Wrigley last year. But his place at the top of the lineup could really help this team.

Moya. Gonna have a monster season. Just a monster season. I have to believe that. I just have to, even though there is nothing to point that way.

Upton. You know this idea of a one-year deal seems kind of perfect for the Tigers. Spend plenty now, but they won't be married to it for 6 years. Seems like it would be a perfect fit for them actually. Plus, he's coming off of a down year and wouldn't need a lot of motivation to have a good one.

Castoff/Free Agent/Platoon - You know I am talking about someone like Ryan Raburn here. And I don't cringe at the idea of Raburn being on the team. I would just like him more as a supersub and that's covered with Aviles. The biggest problem I always had with Raburn was Jimmy Two Packs' starting him way too much. I wouldn't mind seeing Martin Prado here, but the way he plays the game (all out and reckless) might mean lots of nagging injuries and a quick decline. There will be some notable names that get released before Opening Day. I wouldn't expect anything like a J.D. story.

Upton makes the most sense financially. Fowler is the leadoff hitter they lacked for years. Cespedes would be the dream.

Do you guys think Lou and Tram will be in the hall one day?

If it's not Cespedes, Upton, or something along those lines, then Avila has really hosed all the fans (and maybe more importantly Mr. Illitch). So I choose to believe it will be one of those two.

No, because the luxury tax is marginal. I don't think that you understand that.

Raburn is most realistic--destroys LH pitching and also serves as insurance for Victor, in case of injury.

Except when he didn't destroy LHP, like in 2012 and 2014. When you are talking about a sample size of 200-250 PA's it's basically about a coin flip on whether Raburn will hit LHP or not that season.

50 percent of the time, he destroys LHP all of the time.

Gose and Aviles destroy LHP 0% of the time.

Low-fat homemade pancakes? I heard they both can destroy a lot of those.

When you break it down, everything is 50/50, except for exceptions.

Chasfh posted this in the offseason thread, but it's a terrific article and belongs here.

Raburn: The Most Volatile Hitter in Baseball History | FanGraphs Baseball

This is what I love about Ryan Raburn. He proves everyone wrong. If you think he sucks, you'll be proven wrong. If you think he's good, you'll be proven wrong. Even his defense is like that. He'll make a boneheaded play one inning and then make a diving catch or great throw two innings later. He's great social media material.

Raburn is liable to botch an easy play in the with a bad route and clank off of the glove, and then laser throw the batter at 2B.
