I'd take him. And then worry about moving another DT later on to make room...

Wouldn't it be ironic if we took a DT in the third round who ends up getting the guy we TRADED A THIRD ROUND PICK FOR LAST YEAR cut from the team.

Hate you Mayhew.  Hate you.

What about Vernon Adams later in the draft?  He gives off a bit of a Russell Wilson vibe, better arm actually.

Don't know much about him man. Waldman put me on to Bercovici and I did a little watching of what I could.

Waldman on Bercovici

Glasgow!  Nice.

I like this draft.  Sensible picks all the way around.

If Cook is available when the Lions pick in the 4th, do you take him?

He won't be but for me, the answer would be yes.

I think now that teams have the night to think about Cook, he will go early tomorrow.  Similar to what happened with Smith and Jack today.

Build the lines baby.  Quinn must have listened to us.  I think he's knocking this draft out of the park whereas I always had questions about a lot of Mayhew's picks.  Not a sexy draft but filling some very important needs with good value players.

The Lions have a bunch of picks now in the lower rounds.  I think they need to get a few skilled guys, a big receiver and a developmental QB ideally.

Similar to what happened to Kirk Cousins.

If I have to choose between Cook, Cash and Judon I'm probably picking Cash and passing on Cook. I do think that Connor Cook has the tools to be a good NFL QB. He would provide us the option to evaluate a trade of Matt Stafford in a year or whether or not we would want to poney up a lot of money to resign Stafford in two years.

I do want a receiver or two tomorrow.  Other than that, this draft is already a success in my mind.

I think Day or Billings would be my first two choices for our next pick at this point.

Our next pick is only 15 odd away. Still plenty of names I like on there. Plenty of picks to trade up with if needed and/or be able to hopefully pick some nice sleepers.

Looks like Quinn wants to build that power running game. Like it. Don't try make Stafford do too much.

Almost woundnt mind Howard RB if he's still about

My non-Connor Cook list of players I want looks something like this for the 4th round . . .

1. Jeremy Cash/S

2. Matt Judon/DE

3.Andrew Billings/DT

4. Eric Murray/CB

5. Tajae Sharpe/WR

Cash, James Cowser, Josh Perry, Zach Sanchez.

Ideally we'd land a DB or an edge rusher. Perry would add some LB depth and a dimension we lack to some degree.
