This show is really good. Every time I think it's about to get predictable and corny, it takes a turn. I like that.

The scene where Anita/Mia is riding in the back seat of the car and the camera pans closer and closer to her face before she lets out that huge gasp was absolutely fantastic. She should win an Emmy just for that scene alone.

Yes. Tremendous show. Glad to hear that it's been renewed for a 2nd season.

I have given up on True Detective and Masters of Sex this season.

Don't really have a show I am watching right now.

I guess I am watching Ray Donovan, but that is only if I have free time and I'll probably quit on it shortly.

My family and I just discovered Doctor Who this summer and are thoroughly enjoying it. We started with the 2006 season and are about halfway through the 2008 episodes, watching at least two episodes per night.

Also watching The Last Ship and America's Got Talent.

You are watching it with the better Doctors, they will keep getting better until the latest doctor, he's a dullard, especially compared to Eccleston/Tennant/Smith.

Regards

Michael Baird

I've never viewed as confusing a plot as I did with True Detectives this season. The second season is over and I still don't understand half of what I watched.

I'm up to date on Under the Dome but season 3 has been pretty weak so far. It better pick up or i may have to move on.

I felt the same way last night. Too much stuff going on without crisply handling any of it.

Battlestar Galactica. Really the people who say that Starbuck was just a rip-off of Han Solo have no idea what they are talking about. There were very few similarities at all.

Between Face and Starbuck, Dirk Benedict had to have been the most awesome actor of my childhood.

Actually, there's something I'm going to post in the political forum at some point when I have some time. A piece that Benedict wrote about 10 years ago. Good read I thought.

I watched the finale last night and I couldn't follow much of it either!

Bummed that Hannibal is cancelled after this season. There's talk that Netflix, Hulu or Amazon may pick it up. Very grisly show. Surprised that it made it this long on network TV.

The show has just gone off of the deep end, IMHO. Can't tell what's real or what's hallucinatory/flashback/dream half the time. The whole show seems as if it is in a universe where only these characters exist. And in the latest episode, they just duplicated the only scene that I remember from when I had a makeout session during a screening of Manhunter at the Eastland Theatre in 1986.

Also, I just recently rewatched The Silence of the Lambs, and have determined that one of these portrayals of Hannibal is completely wrong, and it's not by the guy who got knighted for his acting ability.

Bloodline on Netflix. We are three episodes in and enjoying it quite a bit.

I also watched the first two episodes of Narco and its pretty good as well. Its a show about Pablo Escobar.

I'm about 6 episodes in to Narcos and I am really enjoying it, I feel like it captures the intensity of the situation. After I finish Narcos I'll probably start up Show Me A Hero, I've heard good things.

Wild ending for Hannibal. Satisfying.

WTF. Did Will and Hannibal actually escape together? Is that what I'm taking from this? (Spoilers in white)

White below:

I thought it was a murder-suicide.

Heck, now I'm not sure. I've read a few articles that seem to say it has been left open to interpretation.

EDIT: One thing you have to say, whether you liked the show or not, it took balls by NBC top put this on the air. I am disappointed it wasn't more of a success. Maybe network TV would have started to become less "reality" garbage filled.

I'm 4 episodes into Narcos on Netflix and I'm liking it so far. The only negative is all the subtitles.

They just announced it will be returning for a second season.

Homeland,Vinyl,Fargo and The Bastard Executioner. Gonna miss Boardwalk Empire and Sons of Anarchy this year.

The season 5 Homeland trailer looks fantastic.

If you have Amazon Video, you have to watch Catastrophe, a comedy series from Rob Delaney and Sharon Horgan that turns every rom-com trope on its ear. It's both filthy and funny as hell.
