It was such a great ending though and she was pointless after a while.

It was a good ending for her and she was kinda pointless.  She was the eye candy.  She looked REALLY good in that show.

Yeah - the Rita storyline made sense initially because she was emotionally unavailable and he needed her as a girlfriend to appear more normal.

Her being emotionally unavailable / his inability to make emotional connections was forgotten when they tried to work more of her in, and there were aspects of his life that would have been called into question by her when they began living together / got married.  I wasn't sad to see her go, to be honest, even though I definately liked looking at her.

I have to admit I was never as into Rita physically as some people. She was good looking no doubt, just never did anything particularly special for me.

I'm so behind on shows. The following I would like to catch up on:

House of cards

Bloodline

Jessica jones

Justified final season

Halt and catch fire

Man in the high castle

Wow, I don't know how you could put off the last season of Justified. What a great show, and I thought a pretty fantastic finish. Do yourself a favor and move it up in your queue.

We ended up away from home for an extended period of time due to a renovation when it aired, and the early episodes ended up deleted off the dvr. So had to wait for it to show up on prime.

It's high on my list, but it's also been so long that I keep opting for other more recent stuff.

Well, Justified got vetoed. My wife didn't want to get into a long 6 season series, so we ended up watching iZombie. It's pretty much much brain dead viewing in the same vein as Buffy the Vampire Slayer was, but having said that, we both liked it. If you are the type who has a need to dissect a show and point out things or plot lines that don't make sense, this show isn't for you. If you are looking for a little light dramedy with a continuing story line that doesn't require much thought or a show that doesn't matter if the kids walk in and interrupt you while you're watching then you might like iZombie.

I think I read somewhere that izombie actually turned into a pretty decent/smart show.

Finished Stranger Things last night. For the most part I enjoyed it and found myself thinking about it when I went to bed.

Spoiler

I pondered what really became of El and believed it was true that she was the monster all along. I think she can travel to and from the upside down and that is why Hopper put that food out for her.

Also, regarding Barbara, the "leech" went out from her mouth just like it did for Will and yet we are to assume that Barbara is dead?

Netflix has picked up Marcos for season three and four.

Sounds like they will be switching gears to the Cali Cartel. Should be interesting since they were even bigger than Pablo and the Medellin Cartel.

Really enjoyed the first two episodes of Atlanta that aired on Tuesday.

Excellent, we have them on the DVR. Hope to watch them tonight or this weekend.

We also plan to check out Better Things.  Airs tonight I believe. Louis C.K. is involved in some capacity, writing or producing I think.

Yah, he's at least a co-creator. I love Pamela Adlon

Also have both Atlanta's on DVR. Pretty excited for that one

I didn't like Better Things.

Atlanta was OK.

S2 of Narcos was really good.  Looking forward to S3.

I'm going to keep watching Better Things because its an easy watch with the wife, but it disappointed me.

I loved Atlanta, brilliant IMO

Narcos and the above mentioned by Punk House of Cards are things I really need to catch up on

I've had the last half of season two of The Last Man on Earth on my DVR for awhile and finally finished it. When this show is on, it is really on. It scores very well on Rotten Tomatoes.

Just finished Stranger Things and about to start S2 of Narcos.   Also just started watching the new season of American Horror Story.  Not sure how I feel about the new format of it.
