Well, if they want any chance at making the playoffs they need this one.

@ Golden State and @ Portland next week. Ouch.

A ref is sick so they will go with two tonight.

Don't they have a backup at all? Maybe that is just the playoffs.

It's become a familiar sight to see Drummond commit a terrible foul and take that long, slow walk back to the bench.

It baffles me how people can honestly come on here and rip on Monroe and not say a whole lot about Drummond.

I've been questioning Drummond for a while now.

He's a slightly better Tyson Chandler without the killer instinct. Still young though so who knows but you can't teach drive and determination and he lacks consistency in that area.

mostly when we question Drummond the answer is he is still too young to evaluate ultimate value. I just wish he would give us more evidence that he is moving in a positive direction fast enough to get somewhere before he loses his physical advantages.

Jackson looked really good in that half. He has a different skill set than Jennings and I laugh at anyone (Detroit Bad Boys posters) who say Augustin is better.

If SVG can get better defense out of Jennings, I imagine he can get a 24-25 year old that is 6'3 with a long wingspan to be a solid defensive PG

Still it would seem a point guard that can't shoot is really a limitation. How effective can he be as the guy with the ball in his hands if he isn't ever going to be an effective last resort himself when the clock is running out? He better be awfully good at the rest.....

We have to remember that he was so young when he came into the league and got thrown into the fire right away so a case can be made that there is still plenty of development ahead of him.

However, his biggest issues which are mostly mental aren't fixable so this can be a case of he is what he is at this point. Good player to have but not a lead dog.

Pistons getting really sloppy at crunch time, and Charlotte taking advantage and increasing their lead.

How little do opposing teams respect our wing players? Charlotte switched MKG on to Jackson. Lol

More of the same with this team. Should be an interesting summer for SVG. He will have a lot of freedom to make moves

KCP/Meeks have been horrific and we have nothing at small forward. You can have the best bigs in the world and you're gonna struggle.

Cant win if you cant shoot.

Drummond is still a project. People talk about comparing him to tyson chandler and that might be a good comparison. Chandler was terrible for a while before finally figuring it out.

It seems that our dreams of drummond developing into howard are a little beyond reach.

The good news is he is still just 21 years old. I realize we give him more leeway than Monroe or others we criticize but that is because he is still our best chance to find somebody to build around.

I would argue shooting is still the most important skill in basketball. That is why I worry about building around Monroe, Jackson, and Drummond together. That means three fifths of your starting lineup can't shoot. At some point, no matter how much you like like these guys upside and talent as individuals, you have to think about the negative implications that having three starters that can't shoot has on your team. I think we are getting a taste of that right now during that losing streak.

I don't understand Meeks. He is shooting well below his career percentage. Maybe we should try him as a starter to see if it jump starts him.

I didn't watch the game.

But a month ago it wasn't about scoring, it was about defense to win games. Sounded like we couldn't score tonight.
