If a Rockets fan wrote that with "us" replaced with 'You guys" I'd tell him where he could stick it. When a Pistons fan writes it...I just shake my head and think even worse things but keep them to myself.

8 PM eastern. I'm staying right across from the arena. Should have decent seats to watch us get beat.

Are you stalking Josh Smith?

Say hi for me and thank him for all he did for the Pistons.

Didn't have a Tiger hat on!

Don't know how anyone who watches this team on a nightly basis can honestly rip on Monroe and be silent about Drummond.

Shooting, shooting, shooting. Love Monroe but this team needs shooting so if he walks at least they can get a shooter. Tolliver was horrific tonight.

Stop the playoff talk. This team is lottery bound. Gotta get better this summer.

I've lost nearly all interest in this team since the trades. Reggie Jackson is not a point guard, I'm not seeing any ability to lead an offense and distribute the ball. They were playing so much better with Augustin at the helm, let alone Jennings. Really disappointed in SVG's deadline trades squashing the life out of this season.

I think the problem is chemistry more than him not being a point guard. Doesn't help that KCP and Tolliver were 0-12 from three. We need a point guard who can shoot the ball if we are going to play two centers together. Can't expect KCP to be hitting every night to keep teams honest.

Not sure what everyone expected out of this one, Houston has a great club even without Howard in the lineup. SVG is trying to make it work with players who don't fit his system this year, next year he should have another piece or two in place and we'll only have one center in the starting lineup.

It seems Jackson tends to get in the lane and that's where Moose and Dre make their money. Wish he'd stay outside more, but must not have confidence in his shot out there. He doesn't look like a max pg to me, but its early.

I'd still match a max offer from another team for Monroe, but don't think I'd go beyond that.

Thought this team was coming together, but not so sure now. SVG has his work cut out for him this offseason with all that cap space.

Yup. they were playing well with Jennings after Smith left because Jennings was having some great shooting nights. Maybe Jackson has more talent in some aspects than Jennings, but the game he is playing now isn't matching up as well.

Do you folks think that SVG doesn't know what Jackson's skill set is. The "problem" with him not fitting in probably has as much to do with the fact that the team has been set up a certain way with a different type of PG and he's not that type of PG, as any deficiencies on his part. I think the benefit of the doubt has to go to Stan, that he has a plan and will get Jackson to fit in just fine. Not really reasonable to think that Stan can change the offense that the team has been playing all year on the fly like this. I don't think making the playoffs is Stan's big concern. It's building a championship team. That may not jibe with what we were all hoping as this team started winning and making a playoff run, but I don't think Stan was looking forward to going into next season with DJ as our starting PG and hoping that BJ gets back to where he was before the injury. Heck he might not have been pumped about going forward with BJ period. Reggie has the talent to be a real stud. It may take some time, heck it may never pan out, but it was a move worth making.

Stop looking for some magical moment where suddenly we went from being a middle of the pack team to a top 5 team because we brough RJ in. (our I think Dinwiddie should change his last name to Jinwiddie so we can call him SJ)

The team was flawed at every point this season. Trying to blame Jackson for this losing streak is ridiculous. They blew Washington out and played Cleveland even for 3 quarters with him. They blew the Knicks game that they should've won and then lost a couple close ones on the road before last night... Which could've been closer if we would've made a few of the many open looks we bricked. KCP was dreadful last night.

On both ends of the floor IMO.

I agree with all of this. But that doesn't change the fact that the current way the team is constructed is not performing as it was when Jennings was the lead guard after Josh Smith was gone. Jackson is and was worth a flyer though.

Why would anyone give SVG the benefit of the doubt as a GM?

Coach? Yes. GM? He's done nothing to show he knows what he's doing as a GM. All his moves have made the Pistons worse except cutting Smith, which is costing us a lot of cap space because he couldn't trade him.

You give him the benefit of the doubt that he has a plan, not that he's necessarily made a good call or not. Again, DJ and Singler were not pieces of the puzzle to bringing us to the promised land. Will Jackson do so or not, who knows, but Stan has a plan and RJ's style of play is part of that plan. He didn't bring him in hoping he'd become a lights out 3 pt shooter
