Grand Rapids Drive

I doubt the GRD needs different threads on everything that happens. So I will use this to post info about them.

The D-League draft is tomorrow and The Drive have the #1 and #5 pick.

DraftExpress: D-League Draft DX Mock Draft

Detroit can assign two players on their 15 member NBA roster to the team. They can also sign guys they cut in training camp and assign them to the Drive.

Interesting the D League only has one preseason game. I could go for that in the NBA!

They did lose Covington to the 76ers though. I believe he signed today officially.

I went to the game on Dec 28th against LA. It was a good time, pretty entertaining and reasonably priced. I went hoping to see Manny Harris, but he had signed with a team in Turkey like that day. Willie Reed really stood out, he was a beast, all over the place.

How big was the crowd?

How big was the crowd?

They announced 2300....I'd say maybe 1500 max. Looked like a lot of empty seats down low where season ticket holders would be. Was the same time as the Lions vs Packers game too which probably didn't help.

Tonight, Dinwiddie had 22 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 TO's.

He shot 7-12, 3-6, 5-5.

Highlights from the entire game.
