The Walking Dead Season 5

You mean he's black? Makes sense. Seems like there is a quota. We have noah now. And Gabriel.

I thought Noah was Bob's replacement.

Offing Tyreese will give Sasha another reason to be mopey.

Some internet rumors that Sasha is with baby, I guess because the actress is pregnant.

She hinted at that on Talking Dead last night.

Well assuming Eugene was the one making those noise than he would have to be alive because you can't turn if you die by head trauma which is what he would've died from. And if he does turn than that would be a major plot hole cause in the first season when you saw all those dead bodies in the cars that never turned, the writers said it was because they died of head trauma, and the beating Eugene took looked like it would've caused far more trauma than what happened to those people.

I liked Beth. Why couldn't they kill Sasha?

I missed it, what did the note say that Morgan read at the end?

Sorry I was an *******, come to DC, the world could use another Rick Grimes. Or something like that.

I'm kind of wondering why Beth tried to stab Dawn? What the hell did she think would happen?

Sloppy writing. You forget what show you were watching? :)

the other people in the hospital could have shot her before she had a chance to shoot Beth.

Felt like the line to be delivered there was; "Bob...Do you want bullet...Or the bite?"

While funny, I think that would be out of character for Rick. He tormented Garrett because Garrett deserved it. Bob did what any of Rick's crew would have done.

Yeah the whole Sasha and Bob thing wasn't compelling and I think she only remains to cause a major character change in Tyreese.

I am glad the hospital thing is over.... I was very bored with worrying about their internal politics and drama. I wasn't really thinking about who would die, I try not to becaus I want to just see it all develop. But it being Beth makes sense. She was already gone for awhile so we accepted it.

If Sophia doesn't go missing do you think Herschel and family would still be safe on their farm? Her going missing is what led to Carl getting shot by Otis.... when the farm was overrun by walkers it was due to them changing direction. First they followed the chopper out of Atlanta, then they hear the shot when Carl took out Shane.

Next season the Group splits in 3 factions and someone we all know will become the bad guy (or girl).

It's Biff isn't. I knew I didn't like Biff for a reason.

Hmm... that's an interesting thought. Maggie has lost everyone because of Sohpia.

The other side to the story is that she gained Glenn plus there's no certainty that they stay safe on the Farm if the group never shows up, but it's possible that a person who isn't altogether there (like maybe someone who just lost her last family member) might go a little wacko and blame the group for showing up. Maybe blame Glenn... a bit of survivors guilt transferred onto her husband. Sorta the idea of: "I have not right to be happy because the only reason I'm married and in love is because this group came by, and because they came by all the rest of my family is dead."

Obviously this isn't logical, but if we're talking about someone who physiologically unstable, it's possible they might think/feel this way. It *might* be an interesting story line... not unlike the flowers girl earlier. What do you do with a group member who is unstable and off the deep end? Is she a threat to others in the group? Is there any chance you can reason with her? Do you keep her with the group knowing she's a drain on resources in the hopes that she gets better? Do you cut her off while Glenn is still in love with her? It could be one hell of a interesting story.

That said, I don't have faith that they could pull it off successfully. Granted, the flowers girl story was REALLY well done, but that was one episode with a relatively minor character. Maggie is a major character... it would be hard to show a character change that dramatic in less than a half season I think. And if we're talking about a multi-week change over, then we started to head down the Rick Grimes mental break down trail... and that was really poorly done in my opinion.

Meh.

Yeah that was my general feeling on the episode.

In like a Lion out like a lamb. Which should make for a good mid season opener in February.

The opening with Rick mowing down Bob was fantastic.

On the Talking Dead they discussed what we did earlier about the comparisons between Rick and Shane and whether Rick is now where Shane was. Kirkman said something like "Yes, in a way, but he went the natural way where Shane was probably just a psycho and not yet justified in being that way at the time. Who knows where he'd be now." at least that was my take of Kirkman's position.

I read an article where Kirkman said his biggest regret so far with the show was teh CDC revelation that they all were affected. He preferred how it went down in the comics and wished they had dragged that out further on the TV show. The article also suggested the companion series will deal with the outbreak itself.
