Pistons at Knicks

WHY DO YOU LEAVE CARMELO ANTHONY ALL ALONE IN ORDER TO COLLAPSE ON SOMEONE WHO IS TRIPLE COVERED?

I hate Josh Smith so much. He's the dumbest player I've ever seen.

Another Greg Monroe turnover. We should really run the offense through him. He's awesome.

Same old pistons in the 2nd half. 30-13 the pistons are being outscored in the 3rd. Was 41 all at the half.

Nice of the Pistons to implode in the third quarter this time. Saving us the trouble of waiting until the fourth quarter to watch them eff it up.

It might make me a bad person, but the most excited I got watching this game was when I thought Josh Smith might be hurt...

Cheecks looks like a deer in the headlights more often than not. I don't see much evidence of his coaching, if you can call it that.

KCP looks like a pretty rotten shooter. He looks like a player....but isn't one.

Jennings in the stat looks like he's a PG...but he struggles with most every phase of the game right now. Bad shot selection, both taking early bad out of sequence shots and passing up good ones. I don't see him getting past many people to break down the D either. Gambler on D. Urgh.

Josh Smith is the devil. He teases with some really great all around skills....then completely loses his cotton pickin mind on offense. I'd love to play him at the 4. I just hate losing Monroe to do it. He has such a nice game near the bucket....if he can bring back a scoring/penetrating 3

Lotsa of stand around and watch in the 3rd quarter on O and D. Did they really just have 4 days off and a bunch of practices?

Such a huge team-wide fail so far. Dumars' butt is getting warm....

Oh my God....ball movement followed by an open three!!!

Amazing what you can do when you play actual basketball.

That folks is Josh Smith. Plays great defense on one end drawing a charge. Goes down and airballs his shot by 4 feet.

you hold the ball for a winning shot, and your PG drops it to Smith 17 feet away with 10 seconds left, and he jacks up a airball w/o even dribbling...

WHY DO YOU HAVE IT IN THESE GUYS HANDS AT THE END OF A GAME?

Well, let's see what happens with 7 seconds left.

Josh Smith takes an awful shot with the Pistons down 1, Knicks get the rebound and felton is fouled. Cheeks decides to bring in Monroe, who has been on the bench pretyt much the entire 4th quarter. What happens? Felton misses the 2nd FT and Monroe gets owned by Carmelo who gets the board and then makes both FTs to ice it.

Smith and Monroe...both of them need to go, really awful. Cheeks, Dumars, the roster...it's all bad.

The best thing that could happen to this team is that they completely implode, get a top 8 pick, fire Dumars, and let the rebuilding truly begin.

Lose, lose, lose I say!

MOAR FAIL.....

KCP is not ready for prime time. Until they get guys in the lineup with the 3 starting bigs that cab hit outside shots and break the D down, opponents will pack the middle and press the guards. Been working, scouting report is out....

KCP to the bench. Singler in at SG. CV to SF when Dre or Monroe sit. Bynum deserves more minutes as well.

Pretty ugly mix right now. Cheeks better shake them up or they are going to be passed in the left lane by 3 or 5 teams in the next 2 weeks and they will be handing their lottery pick to Charlotte.

You don't sit the one guy on your team who can play perimeter defense.

You have to sit Monroe or Smith. They can't play together. The team plays much better when one of them is on the bench.

Here's a question: Do you think Gores cares or knows?

Funny thing is, the Pistons can really be helped out by this Cleveland trade. The way things are going, Brooklyn, Cleveland and NY will most likely pass Detroit in the standings leaving Detroit a very likely top 8 pick.

This organization is a joke. I can't believe they have let Dumars drive it into the ground like he has. That guy can't be fired soon enough.

Most teams have 4 or 5 guys who can shoot. We don't have one. Our bench is Bynum, Stuckey, Singler is 1/2 a shooter I guess, but man, you have to have a guy who can hit a tough jump shot.

Also Drummond is an absolute joke on D 50% of the time. That is on Cheeks, Frank had him playing a little better post D. When I saw Amare go around him, then under the rim and dunk it in his face, I foolishly yelled "Trade that lazy ****". HaHa! Trade the 20 year old with 17 rebounds. I have come to my senses since then even though I don't for one second buy into the Drummond is a super star in waiting stuff. He is still the rich man's Deandre, and that is good enough for me.

I'm something of a Greg Monroe supporter so here goes:

He is definitely not a superstar and he's a more limited player than Pistons/some fans like to admit

He turns the ball over too often and isn't athletic enough on defense

However, my counterpoint as to why the Pistons should have been glad to have him, and should do their best to retain him is:

He's not Josh Smith

god I hate Josh Smith
