Crooked Presidential behavior

Thread

I see elsewhere that Marco Rubio is all happy up in the nest with the guy who has the David Pecker file on him.

so so good!

Listen toward the end when he talks about the danger to our democracy (around 8:50 mark).

Make no mistake,  Nick Mulvaney knew EXACTLY what he was doing.   Trump has been shoving him toward the path of a bus and Nick just said  "Oh yeah?........."    He's too smart and experienced to just slip up like that.

Trump is losing a lot of Republican supporter over security and foreign policy issues.

Mulvaney knows there's too much evidence to deny it so the approach will have to be by them to say it's not wrong.

Agreed.  Attempted normalization and gaslighting will be the White House's tactic.

So who are the 4% or 5% of Democrats, Republicans, and independents who think Trump has probably done impeachable things, yet disapprove of impeaching him?

They're probably the ones who know Mike Pence may be even worse than Trump.

Who are the 84% of Republicans that want the rule of law and order who think the House should not conduct an impeachment inquiry against a POTUS who has broken the law and openly admits it?

We've already accepted the fact the Republican party is the **** stain of America. We know who those people are.

and it goes back to what I said about how Trump and his people manage scandal.  They've set up this administration like an episodic TV show.  They know the US public are consumers of entertainment and he's conditioned them to see his admin as just another TV show.  We get bored when things stay on one subject too long (The walking dead for example).  So they just ride the scandal out or create new ones to make you forget about the other ones. When the public doesn't see any impeachment or other penalties for bad behavior they just assume it's old news and nothing is there worth worrying about.   How many times on this very board have we said something like "Remember 2 weeks ago when we all were talking about.....?"
