Never any voter fraud, never...and by never I mean there is a certain amount

Recommended Posts

while the GOP proudly engages in wide spread and obvious election fraud

we have 2 cases so far out of 160M votes of voter fraud (both are Trumpers)

I like Fetterman. I saw him on Rachael Maddow doing an interview from a truck stop along the PA Turnpike in Breezewood. Anyone who can pull that off has to be a special person.

I have to say, reading the first couple pages of this thread was classic. Seeing Never Trumpers accuse Democrats of voter fraud and even bringing up fraud in Philadelphia in 2012. Trumpers picked up the fraud football the Never Trumpers put down and ran with it.

I also never knew Al Franken won his senate seat because of widespread fraud.

In Ohio, you have to show a photo ID AND they verify your signature from your voter registration. If you don’t have a drivers license, a State ID costs $10. You MUST have a photo ID to apply for any services at Jobs & Family Services, (SNAP card, WIC, Medicaid) even social security, and to open a bank account. Please tell me why having to show an ID to vote is discriminatory? And yes, I have personal experience with SNAP, WIC and my Medicaid provider of choice, CareSource. Not all white Americans are rich and “privileged” just like not all Black Americans or Hispanic Americans are poor - even if Biden thinks so.

Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., whose record on race has been under scrutiny, appeared to make a gaffe by saying, “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids,” during a town hall hosted by the Asian & Latino Coalition.”

Looks like charges coming for conspirators in a Houston D primary.   I remember when this started.  It was one of the candidates who pressed for the investigation because this Natasha Ruiz did not run any sort of campaign and couldn't be located in the state.  Yet she got something like 20% of the vote, presumably because she had both a Hispanic surname and was female.

Charges being brought against someone by the state of Texas just doesn’t quite have the weight that it did a week ago.   At this point, I look at their entire legal system as being on par with a kangaroo court.

Meh.  I didn't vote for Paxton.   Even the GOP down here is getting fed up with him and that Empower Texas bunch of wealthy oilmen.

In any case, it was the Democrats who had the problem in their primary.  It was the Democrats who sought an investigation.  It should also be noted that it was a Harris County grand jury that indicted them.  The AG's office may or may not have a part in the prosecution but at this point it is a County criminal case.

Disheartening that a fake candidate who didn't even campaign can get 20% of the vote, though.

Same thing happened in South Florida where the GOP ran a “dummy” third party Hispanic candidate who took away enough votes from the Democratic nominee to allow the Republicans to gain a seat

happens everywhere.

if the machine candidate in chicago is black, there will be a white or hispanic candidate on the ballot to make sure the machine candidate gets elected.  if the machine candidate is white, there will definitely be 2 or 3 hispanic names on the ballot.  our speaker of the state house does this every election.  they investigated the supposed hispanic candidates and never found them.

Is Illinois like Texas in that it is the responsibility of the party to verify the individuals whom they put on their ballots?  Does nobody care?

When this Houston case first came up and was still a mystery, several people on my FB feed openly admitted that when they don't know the candidates, they typically choose the woman.   Between us, if I haven't taken the time to prepare I leave those blank.  Most often during primaries.  But then, I don't want to inadvertently nominate an Empower Texas lunatic.  Really dislike that bunch.

One of the very few nice things about this era is how folks just drop all the pretenses and go right out and say what things are really about

Wow.  “Why is the official in charge of elections making it easier for people to vote?”

Another case of voter fraud in PA.

Fetterman is going to own the state of Texas by the time he’s finished.
