Baseball cards found in Ohio attic could be worth $3 million

I'm always thrilled by these stories (and envious, of course). The condition of those cards is amazing. 8's, 9's and 10's from 1910, wow.

Our house was built in 1951 and I was up in the attic and through every crawl space the day we closed on it 10 years ago hoping for this kind of treasure. Found a box of old curtains and a cat collar, and that was about it.

I must have been about 6-7 when I was REALLY into collecting and somehow came across a bunch of cards that were all shaped weird. They were skinny or looked to be cut short. I started researching what they were in the book I had to check the prices of cards and started freaking out when I saw they were worth like a million.....then my dad had to tell me they were not originals and were not worth anything. I remember sitting there with the cards not wanting to let them go because I thought it was a mistake. I still have them somewhere.

This was one of them:

I believe The Sports Hobbyist in the early '70's issued the Wagner (or one version of the facsimile). I definitely remember it being on the cover of the publication.
