The Toledo Blade says that Teufel is starting today and Oliver tomorrow, followed by Wilk, Crosby and Weber. Brown goes to the pen and Garcia goes back to Erie. This all as a result of Wilk and Weber being sent down by Detroit.

Zach Miner had two hitless innings of relief work for the MudHens.

Rawley Bishop went 2-4 with a double, in just his second AAA game.

Rob Brantly walked, doubled, drove in two. He's batting .373 so far.

Avasail Garcia is En Fuego - 16 for his last 37.

.

I have no opinion on whether Miner can make it back to MLB, only that I can't figure out why a team would carry any pitcher through his 1st year after TJ, then dump him in his 2nd yr, since that is when the investment made is likely to pay off if it is going to at all.

Turner got mugged in the 1st inning in Daytona and recovered nicely. Unfortunately Clark also allowed runs while LFT was not generating base runners.

He really didn't get mugged because all 4 runs were unearned do to errors committed by LFT players.
