I wonder if they're really skipping Eichhorn's turn at Lakeland. His turn is after Burgos, but Turner went instead. Flynn is on 4 days rest, so he could go, but Eichhorn is on 6 days rest so (unless he's hurt) I won't be surprised if he starts.

Milb could sure stand to clean up their act as far as keeping track of projected starters. It's not at all uncommon for them to list someone who is no longer on the team, or someone who started the day before, as that day's starter.

Loy removed from last night's game after being hit by a pitch. Still out of the lineup for today's game. Anybody know anything?

Beloit taking BP off of the 'Caps pitching staff. Actually each time has 9 hits while only Beloit has capitalized (8-0).

Loy was hit in the right knee cap with a pitch. He has some swelling but is fine. W. Mich has an off day / travel day tomorrow so gave him two days off to recover.

Lakeland was freezing tonight. Though only in the low 60's, the breeze was uncomfortable for the semi natives. It was fun watching the tourists drift in in shorts and tees. They were all gone by the fifth inning. Team Mom finally had enough and we left going into the 7th. Those who are enduring the winter blast of Spring will laugh at us. Fine,,,,,I was cold in a heavy suede jacket tonight.

I was quite confortable last night and enjoyed a 13-5 LFT win, hope they saved some offense for Dunedin, they have a pretty good team this year gonna be a tough series.

Its always fun when the Flying Tigers put up 13 runs. In the 5th inning with the bases loaded and two out, Nic Castellanos came up. He looked bad swinging at two curve balls which both ended up outside the strike zone, one of which in the dirt. The pitcher then buzzed him high and inside to make the count 1 - 2. He fouled off a couple of balls, worked the count to 3 - 2, and hit a two run single. A really good at bat by Nic.

That has to be the highest scoring LFT game/victory that I have been to where the crowd (well, if you could call it a crowd) just never really got into it. Must have been the cool weather.
