6-08-2010: Pittsburgh Pirates @ Washington Nationals -

Pittsburgh has something going in the 4th, back to back base hits with 0 out. He was absolutely electric in the 2nd and 3rd, striking out 5 batters.

Also, dont think it has been mentioned, but Pudge came off the DL in time to catch in tonight's game.

It's not hype if he can back it up.

I think Strasburg is the best pitching talent to come along in decades so for me there isn't a player in baseball that I wouldn't trade straight up for him right now.

I know it's the AA Pittsburgh lineup, but this guy is frickin good.

Holy, 14 K's. I was wary of the hype he was getting, but now I feel like I did watching Tiger Woods his first August, the summer before he won the Masters. I believe he has struck out the last 7 batters and 8 of the past 9.

Hate him all you want..thats just dominating..best combo of stuff I have seen since Nolan Ryan.

14K's 21 outs..only 29 balls in 7 innings..

I thought he looked amazing, but I give him a lot of credit for throwing this well with all that hype.

This.

Obviously he has talent. But when your put under the microscope on your first try, you tend to over due it. Great job tonight by the Stroff.

14 k's and not one walk. That's StrofftastiK.

Damn good performance. All I hear this morning is how people say he has great mechanics and injury risk won't be as high as some. IIRC, they said that about Mark Prior too how he had pretty much flawless mechanics and yet look at what happened. But whoever the fan was that threw the HR ball back on the field will wish they didn't do that. That ball is historic now.
