Anyone know if Jacob Turner is going to pitch the completion of the first game or start the second game on Sunday? Since there are 6 innings left of game one, that seems it would be perfect for Turner to pitch since that's usually about how far his 75 pitches take him.

Toledo - rained out

Lakeland lost, 2-0 today. Putkonen with the tough loss, he went 7, gave up 2 ER on 5 hits.

Workman was 2 for 2.

West Michigan were 8-5 losers. As mentioned above Turner took the loss after

taking over for Lebron. Hernan Perez singled and doubled.

Lennerton had FOUR hits today - now batting .312, while Garcia added two hits.

looks like Turner pitched the first game and got roughed up.

6 IP, 8 H, 4 ER, 1 BB, 3 K's

Turner gave up a bunt single then a single to the first two hitters retired 9 out of the next ten..allowed a 4 run 7th..retired the next 6.

However they stole 2nd I think 4 times..not his best outing..cetainly not his worst.

I am encouraged he is going out there every 5 days and seems to be building stamina.

I pray we dont rush him and allow him to refine his breaking ball..it's my only complaint about Porcello..his secondary pitches are not developing nearly as much as they would have in the minor leagues, it may limit his ultimate upside.

LFT still stay behind the BlueJays who also suffered a loss today, on a down note, Kaiser had his 21 game hitting streak come to end today. Here's hoping the LFT can take the next 3 games going into the all-star break.

Erie's game was Suspended
