Good job getting the latest Seattle trade in. I like what you have for my guys. Toby will be a very serviceable pro.

I would be happy with this. But I would hope for a RB and some OL help later in the draft if this goes down.

He has the Lions taking Best in the 2nd.

So are they taking the Best player available or the best player available there?

Nice draft though I would switch Gibson with Ghee in the third.

I think Gibson is the better player. I think he's one of the most underrated players in the draft this year. Don't worry about position, take the best player (except QB, obviously).

Just my opinion.... Thadeus Gibson is the second comming of Golstein. Workout warrior, little actual production. To use a Chris Speilman phrase.... " Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane!"

Maybe, but he'd be a 3rd round draft pick. If there wasn't some knock on him he'd be rated higher.

I would sorta hope for either Charles Brown or Patrick Robinson over Best in the 2nd.

If the Lions were to pick a DE in the 3rd round and Alex Carrington is still available, I have to admit I'd be a little steamed if they passed on him. I like the first two picks, although I'm still holding out hope that the Lions trade down and get some extra picks.

He'll probably go in the second. It only takes one team.

He should go in the 5'th. After 4 years he looks good in a scripted set of drills. Why did it take so long? And how long will it last in a game?

Kevin Seifert weights on the Suh/Okung (Hargrove) debate.

Have at it: Okung vs. Suh - NFC North Blog - ESPN

Two things I think he is missing:

1. Even if you think Hargrove is athletic as Suh, Suh's productivity is off the charts for a DT prospect and I think is a huge factor in why he is such a highly rated prospect.

2. He does not address the fact the Lions would have to give up a third round pick to obtain Hargrove.

I do agree with the theory though that if the Lions sign Hargrove, they are most likely going to draft Okung.

are you sure tebow lasts until the mid 3rd?

No, and I was looking for a fit, couldn't find one.

His new throwing motion is vastly improving his stock. It wouldn't shock me if he was drafted in the first. Remember, we're also talking about high end physical skills here. He also has great arm strength. The knock is his release, and it's vastly improved.

I agree 100%. I would rather take a CB here based on the first 2 picks.

Jerome Murphy is high on my list of CB "gets".

I would pick him in the 3rd, or Morgan Burnett, S. Actually, I like alot of the safeties coming out this year so I'd wait to see which one falls to the 5th round... But I really like Murphy better than any of the later round (meaning, after the 1st two rounds) CB's.

I don't see Ciron Black taken yet. I want him at the top of the 4th.

Suh, Best, Murphy, Black, Myron Rolle?
