How was Tigerfest 2010

Recommended Posts

I didn't get to go this year and have never been to the event, but I would love to hear about this years event. How were the lines? Any pictures? What all did you do? Let's hear

Was pretty good this year. Lines were long at the start, but moved pretty good. Weather was good too. Here's what I scored:

Justin Verlander signed SI

Adam Everett signed ball

Brent Dlugach signed ball

no one should apologize for big balls

I like how that Sports Ills has "Tiger Woods All Business At The PGA" at the top

I wonder if it says whata kind of 'business' on page 40

Today's weeding and lucking out for me:

Alex Avila

Rafael Belliard

Brennan Boesch

Tom Brookens x2

Brent Dlugach

Adam Everett x3

Carlos Guillen

Brandon Inge

Zach Miner

Ryan Perry x2

Wilkin Ramirez x2

Nate Robertson x2

Rafael Belliard/Casper Wells on "Paws" 07 Topps OD card

ROMLB (w/ Hollimon from 2009): Ryan Perry, Jay Sborz

I could pair up who was where and with who, but my brain is kind of fried from waiting in lines all day.

Raburn and Impemba. Stood in line for a total of at least 4 hours. Worst Tigerfest ever. Whatever though. You win some, you lose some.

It was our first Tigerfest. My kids loved it. We weren't into getting lots of autographs and my kids didn't want to waste all day in lines, so we only hit the kids-only autographs once. We hit all the kid-centric events and wandered around the stadium. I thought they did a good job at laying out all the events, but a few more kid-focused events would make it better. And the stadium tours seemed to fill up quite fast, it was the only thing we missed that we wanted to do.

It seemed there were two groups in attendance - those wanting autographs and families with kids. I would have liked more events for us attendees not focused autographs. Maybe a real pitching and hitting clinic (instead of the interview style clinics that were there) for kids. Or a small movie theater area showing Tigers history clips.

You stood in autograph lines for 4 hours, or lines for everything for 4 hours?
