Awesome!  I love it.    Your LP is really awesome too, I have an affinity for blue axes.  I have a blue LP as well but not nearly as bright of a blue color as yours.

Appreciate it.  It's a 2017 Les Paul Standard in Blueberry Burst finish. At the time I found the color really striking and had to grab it. I don't know if they still produce that paint scheme.

I got my strat back from a setup couple days ago.... playing on it a lil bit.... have a part where I need to do a 1.5 step bend on the high E, 15th fret..... when I almost get to the 1.5..... dead spot.   😒

I like a lot of them but I did buy one that arrived dead once but it happens.   But I really like what they produce, as well as earthquaker

On the acoustic front, I sent back the Breedlove, and sunday morning I'm going to test drive a 77 Guild f50r with the rosewood back and sides. Pretty excited that I found one 20 minutes from me.

wow that's awesome.   I really love my guild.  It plays and sounds great and I think that's pretty common with good Guilds.

For sure. And they are tanks. This one has a crack in the body which supposedly has been repaired. If not, I have a friend who is great at stuff like that. Guess I'll find out Sunday.

It there visibly a flat spot on the fret?  Maybe it can just be crowned.   Or perhaps the neck is just too straight.  If you don't get dead spots higher on the neck you might just need a tiny bit of extra relief (very slight truss rod adjustment).  maybe.  Hard to say but definitely a fixable problem.

Yeah, I agree.  I wish I had a POG.  I'm able to somewhat simulate the sound of a POG with my TC Electronics Sub N Up pedal.  I can pitch shift to 3 different octaves simultaneously, so it sounds close to a POG but not exact.

Those axes are so cheap, seems too good to be true.   They've got some really great looking ones.    Did you get it yet?  How is it?

I'm going to replace the pickup and electronics but other than that it's a great player. I'll do a video once the guts are replaced. All told I'll have a little over $400 into a mahogany DC.

Not sure if we have any fans of The White Stripes in here or not, but here is our live off the floor cover of The Big Three Killed My Baby from band practice last week.

If you really want to nail that WS sound, the drummer really shouldn't be wearing a bra. Maybe get that part down for the next performance. Otherwise, great video!
