Ya, it was kinda tough but it's a pretty nasty list. I love Reagan's Goldwater talk but he didn't walk the walk. I get the impression that Eisenhower and Kennedy were the only two that had a conscious about being slaves to the financial oligarchy. I admire Eisenhower for warning about the military-industrial complex and
speech by Kennedy is one of the better I've ever heard.

I agree with all of this...

FDR is one of the worst presidents ever for starting social security...even though he probably never envisioned it being a black hole that it is today.

A question for the Reagan fans? Are you mainly voting for what he stood for and said, what he accomplished or the results of his polices?

Reagan was in charge when the Soviet Empire collapsed.

He also turned around the Carter stagflation which began a 20 year boom in the US.

I admire FDR for his leadership during WW2.

What I find ironic are the ardant FDR supporters who despise Bush for violating the constitution and expanding executive power. If there ever was a President who violated the constitution or expanded executive power it was FDR.

I wasn't born until 1973 but I do know that Truman was the one who ordered the atomic bomb dropped on Japan. So I give him alot of credit for ending world war 2.

Also Abe Lincoln. But look how popular he is now.
