I don't understand the choices for Colorado.

Maybe because that is who they are matched up to play with them being the 8th seed and Colorado being Detroits rival.

I just enjoy watching the Wings beat up on Colorado.

Suspect goaltending and average defense

Assuming Phoenix has no shot:

1. Nashville

2. Colorado

3. Calgary

Colorado may be most likely, and doesn't scare me. Forsberg and Foote are shells of their peak selves, and more importantly, Theodore has been average at best since his trophy season.

Avs just lost 7-5 in regulation to the Oilers, and the Preds just won in a shootout, 2-1.

Avs lead over the Preds is now just 2 points, and only 3 ahead of Edmonton. Looks like its clentch time for the Avs!

I would like the Hawks to make it to the playoffs one of these years, with Kane and Toews. Kane scored a beauty in the SO today to go 6 for 8 on the year in shootouts.

Theodore was yanked after 3 goals on the first 8 shots against the Oilers.

3 shutouts in 4 games will do that.

I forgot about that. I just think Colorado would be more motivated, more hungry if they played the Wings in the first round is all.

Just bought my tickets to Game 1 of the playoffs. I don't really care who they play, but I'm kind of hoping for the Avs.

I picked Nashville as I think it won't be too hard to take the series.. I would like to see the Wings destroy the Avs just for fun..

I agree with you on the above for a best case scenario.

People need to stop voting for Phoenix. It's unrealistic.

I know, but they are a choice and I would like to see them over any of the other teams

Of realistic possibilities, I would like Colorado probably

I'd take Nashville because of the travel situation involved with playing Colorado and Calgary.

Besides, do you really want to wait until 10:00 for games 3,4, and maybe 6 to start.

I forgot about all that travel miles they put on last year.. I think they went over 1 million flying miles during the playoffs!!!

Its a damn crime that the Wings are in the Western Conference. Playoff games get over at like 3am detroit time. That definately will take its toll on ya after a while....it does on the fans anyway.

I hate when teams play on the west coast unless they are on the weekends..
