I hate to compare, but...

Ramon Santiago reminded me today of a young Roberto Alomar (he even looks like him). That was the best game by a Tiger player in a long time. Not real fair to compare the two, but Santiago shows the same kind of moxie; besides the fact Alomar has a lot more pop, their games seem to be quite similar.

Don't jinx him, Cruzer!

I was really impressed with Santiago as well. Obviously, you can't tell anything from 2 games, but he's made a couple of nice over-the-shoulder catches, and he seems to have a short, economical swing. The base on balls was a good sign, also.

Recalling him was still a bad idea, though.

Hey, I',m just going by what the AP had posted. He's too new for me to pick him out of a lineup. Although the glove does look different from one picture to the other. Oh well... ;)

In the 2nd pic he has a small logo on the left sleeve of his undershirt. I do believe the 2nd picture is Damian Jackson.
