When bars pour guinness in plastic cups...

People who throw their cigarette butts in the street. I mean please, I don't care if you want to smoke yourself silly, just don't impose your nasty habits on the rest of us who choose not to. It's not like the filter is going to biodegrade anytime soon.

My latest: The phone rings: "Hello, All of our customer representatives are busy. You will be connected to the next available representative". Does anyone ever wait to see who is bothering them? Can they really expect results? Idiots and those that hang on are worse.

Also finding I can barely hit my targets with my latest handguns.

People that post "jokes" that aren't even funny in every frickin post!!! And usually followed by some gay smiley. I'm all for cracking a joke once in a while but when you try that hard to turn every post into a joke it just annoys the bajeesus out of me!!!!

Am I a jerk for feeling this way?

And I swear if I see this guy :cheeky: again today (I bet I've counted 100 before lunch) I'm going to punch my monitor!!!!

My biggest pet peeve is stupid people. Unfortunately, I am forced to deal with them on a daily basis. Then, I leave work and think everything will get better only to have them all driving at the same time. Now it seems, they are starting to find their way around the internet as well.

I need to find an emo kid to see if that whole cutting thing really works.

Oooh, yeah, that's begun to bug me a lot too over the past couple of years.

I hate it when people say "my bad."

What the ****! We know it was your fault so why say it?

Also all the girls who start each sentence with the word "like." Was it or wasn't it? You can't be "like pregnant"

People who use the word "Irregardless". I realize that it has become part of everyday vernacular for many people, but it isn't a word. It's a blend of irrespective and regardless.

I hate it when parents give cute spellings to their children's names:

example: Carin for Karen (and that is a lesser example).

Sure it makes them "unique and their own person", but it is going to aggravate their future teachers and employers to no end (which causes aggravation to the person as well!)

Parents giving all of their children the same first letter to all of their names:

Larry, Laura, Lonnie, ....

Another one of those cute parent things, that is so stupid!

You would never survive around here not only do we have the same first initial, all are initials are the same. We think it is cool. How many people marry someone with the same initials.

1. People who shorten first names or call people they don't know (especially elders) by their first names. You can be formal and still be friendly.

2. People who have personal conversations on their cell phones in public, and talk too loudly for me to just ingore them.

3. When people choose to sit directly in front of me even though the train/bus/room or whatever is completely empty except for me, and proceed to have a loud, obnoxious conversation. Since I live in a town with a large student population, I've had to listen to the same conversations probably 1000s of times in the last 6 months alone.

4. People who overuse the word "like." I recently overheard a conversation where one air-headed student said to another: I, so, like can't like wait till like I'm done with the, like, second semester, because like then, I'll be like, DONE with the second semester!" And no, I'm not exaggerating.

I know my jokes suck, but do I really use that many smileys?

I can think of a couple of people that are bigger offenders with the smilies. I'm up there too, probably, I often use them without even really thinking.

I usually screw it up both ways. Either I leave off a smiley, and sound serious, or I use three smilies in the same post and make it unreadable! Sigh.

My brother's wife and mine are both named "Lisa Klapp."

We took it a few steps further! :paranoid::cheeky:

Yoda must really hate my posts then. I'm usually never serious in any of the threads I post in. I guess I use this site to burn off frustration, by using my untimely used wittiness.

Ugh. Sorry about the blowup guys. I was just in a grumpy mood and I should not have done this publicly.
