Yahoo only lets you have 4 fantasy football teams. Does this count as one of those? Or can you have as many pick ems as you want?

I dunno - my guess is that you should be able to have as many as you want.

My reasoning for the spread is as follows:

Week 1 UGA plays Western Kentucky. Wonder who will win that game.

Now throw a 39.5 point spread in there, and I'll be damned, if there isn't a little bit of skill involved.

Agreed.

Ranger,

I'm in.

Thanks for setting this up.

Also, I vote for the spread.

I think we use the spread in our NFL pick'em group as well. We also use a drop score of one week, but hey I really don't care. I'm in, spread/no spread, use all weeks/drop one week.

Lines are almost a must in college. There aren't nearly as many upsets as in the NFL game. The drop a week is also a good idea as everyone has one weekend where they go out of town or simply forget to set their picks.

I'm also a little disappointed that you didn't make the password Tressel.

I vote against the spread. I'm bad enough at Pick'ems without the spread.

Exactly my reasoning too.

I think its more fun to pick the team that is going to win rather than if they cover the spread. We're not doing this for money or anything.

Whoever set it up last year used some crappy password - like Breaston as a password. I figure the common ground that everyone shares here are the Tigers. I should change the password to JimHerman. Man I'm going to miss him.

You can edit your picks for week 1 now.

Ranger, are you going to change the settings to pick against the spread?

yeah

I've made my picks. Man, I voted for the spread and now I think I'm get what I asked for. I quite possibly might go 0 for 21 this week.

I haven't the clue as to the strengths and weaknesses of any of the teams outside of the top 3. Hey, this might be a good thing. I'm an NFL junkie, but yet manage to be one of the worst pickers of all time. My cluelessness of college football is leading me to believe that I might go 21 for 21.

I've printed out my picks and now I can't wait for the scores to become final.
