Recommended Posts

Go here to see the notes people have left for Ty Cobb at findagrave.

A couple of samples:

People are being to hard on you. The only reason they get away with it is because you're dead. You would have showed them. You are the greatest Tiger ever.

- Kyle Breschini

God be with your spirit while you play baseball in Heaven. Now you can be happy.

Love you or not, you were a heck of a ball player. God Bless You.

- Sal Mineo Fan

Happy Birthday to the GREATEST baseball player who ever walked the face of the Earth. End of story, end of debate, end of discussion, no questions, no doubt, bar none, second to none, period.

Ty Cobb, you'll always be the best.

Three heavyweights. September 1947 Yankee Stadium Old Timers Day “reunion”

sported the likes of this Big Three:

Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb and Tris Speaker. These and other Old Timers

were invited to the first two games of the World Series.
