GO NIU and EMU.

I have very little knowledge to really pick this but it's an MB.

I'll say 9-2 before the bowl.

Sat., Oct. 22 @ Iowa

This is the game that scares me the most. With a win here, I think...we go back to the Rose Bowl :classic:

I like that we don't have to go out west this year, that usually is that ONE EARLY LOSS we seem to always give up. That said, we'll have to redeem last years loss to Notre Dame, on our stage, so I like our chances there. I expect no sophomore jinx to slow Chad Henne down.

I will say that they'll finish 10-2 :bandit:

10-1 and a BCS Bowl.

They will trip up against Wiscy/MSU/Iowa. In order of likelihood Iowa,MSU,Wiscy. They tend to have a lot of success at Wisconsin. The MSU game is always MSU's Rose Bowl look no further if they win that game they will crap the bed the very next week and well Iowa there one of the best teams in the Big Ten.

I love this team, but running QB's kill us and I see much of the same this year. OSU defense is just sick this year and scares the bejesus out of me. So, 8-3 with a Citrus Bowl matchup vs. South Carolina. Iowa and OSU get BCS games and another season of 'what if's" for us UM fans.

Michigan won't lose to Iowa as long as people keep talking about how great Iowa is. Michigan doesn't lose Big Ten games that they are supposed to.

MSU or Wisconsin are the 2 games that are scaring me right now..

Word out of the fort is that we won't have any problems scoring points this year, but there's still unresolved issues (as in wait and see) regarding how we'll handle scrambling qb's and spread offenses. Believe me it's been a center of focus this offseason. For the first time in like forever, we don't have a tough, usually west coast road game to worry about during the first three. If we get a little momentum and get through ND, @Wisky and @ MSU without a hiccup, it could be a special year. Remember ND likes to use most of their entire offseason to prepare for the Michigan game and so far Weis is getting his a** handed to him in recruiting against us.

I think ND is focusing more on USC. If they could pull off a win there, that'll be the upset of the decade.

Since the Michigan game is before the U$C game, I would think that would be the one they are focusing on.

I think its ridiculous to say that a team will focus it's entire offseason on one team.

Coaches will study video of the upcoming oppoents in the offseason and I would think they prepare for the team when its their upcoming game.

I'm sure ND will let it all hang out against USC, however they don't play USC until the sixth game, and are going head to head with Michigan in several recruiting battles. There's a lot more on the line (as if they really have that much on the line as an independant) against Michigan.

Yet Notre Dame has done it often in the Michigan series. All focus no, most of their focus yes.

Iowa doesn't need to sneak up on anybody. They simply are extremely talented.

Its going to be close. Much closer than 2004. However I give Iowa the edge at home. Kinnick Stadium is an underrated home field advantage.
