Twins - Tigers; Game 3

Recommended Posts

RHP B. Radke (2-2, 6.84) v.s. LHP M. Redman (0-3, 7.40)

Lets get the brooms out and hope we can get the sweep. I'm sure Redman is just dying to beat his former team too.

Line-ups:

Minnesota

Jones, LF

Guzman, SS

Mientkiewicz, 1B

LeCroy, DH

Hunter, CF

Koskie, 3B

Buchanan, RF

Prince, C

Hocking, 2B

Detroit

Magee, CF

Fick, RF

Higginson, LF

Simon, 1B

Halter, SS

Paquette, 3B

Monroe, DH

Inge, C

Macias, 2B

Macias still in the line-up - ugh! I want to see Damian Jackson there. Inge? Well, Rivera does need a day off I guess but tomorrow is an off day.

I want to see what Monroe is made of in the major league level - he was great in Toledo.

Redman looking real sharp after 1 inning... striking out Jones and Guzman and Mientkiewicz flies out.

0-0 heading into the bottom of the 1st. Lets see if the 1-2-3 guys can get something going.

1-0 Tigers... Simon bats in Magee for the run.

Should be 3-0 but Hunter robs Paquette of at least a double.

1-1 Tie. Koskie knocks in Hunter.

Redman still looks pretty good. 4Ks after 2 IP.

Redman is prone to one bad inning so far this season. He will be much more effective once the warm weathers comes around.

At least we got out of the inning...

Question is - does Pujols pinch hit for Inge who hit a HR today or does he let Inge hit?

And he should have pinched hit for him

And he should pinch hit for Macias, no question about it in my mind.

Pujols, what the hell are you doing?
