Thanx for the heads-up - I loved it. Troy Percival is already one of my favorites - to paraphrase a quote "Good teams can't brings wins with them to the next season, so why should we bring any bad feelings". Also interviewed Dombrowski, Inge, Trammell and Max St. Pierre.

With the way they were talking about the bullpen, It kind of reminded me of the nasty boys from the Reds in the early 90's!

It was a very cool show that got the juices flowing. I agree with Shaggy, Percival is already one of my favorite Tigers. That guy has a terrific attitude. I was a little miffed by Dan Miller (I love that guy) saying that Maxim St. Pierre made big strides last year at the plate...he only batted .248 at Erie.

I'm thinking the same thing.

Starters give you 5 or 6 good innings and then turn it over to the bullpen.

Percival (proven veteran closer)

Urbina (proven veteran closer/setup man)

Farnsworth (power arm- awesome if he's on)

Walker (crafty veteran lefty)

The following guys could push the pen over the top.

German (power arm- must find consistancy)

Colyer (power lefty- must find consistancy)

Knotts (goos long relief potential)

The 1990 Red's Nasty Boy's bullpen had Charlton, Myers & Dibble, but not much more than that afterwards. This Tiger pen has more possible upside if everyone pitches to their potential. This pen also has Rodney & Spurling waiting in the wings.
