How can Georgia get a 1st place vote...with how they have played?

I don't get that, though I am not bashing the 'dogs -- I'd get shot down here if I was -- but, they don't deserve that vote.

Surprised that my Boise State Broncos moved up two slots in the poll to 21st. They were given a real scare by a weak team. It never should have been the contest it was. The Bronco coach wasn't very proud of their performance on his Sunday TV show. Guess teams surrounding them in the polls did worse or maybe voters just see who won and vote accordingly. Either way, I'll take it. We ended up at 16th last year. I hope a few 60 point games and a convincing win over Fresno State can push us beyond even that by the end of October. :classic:

Maybe, Maybe not.

Bash us all you want, Greene is wins....and is only 5-6 wins from breaking the NCAA record all-time wins.

I don't think Georgia will win the national title this year but they are a very good team. Their offense does just enough to win and they have a great Defense.

I think its too early to make any serious assumptions. Everybody is still in the hunt. This includes teams that have lost already like LSU, Florida State, Florida, and maybe even Michigan. Remember last year, one loss doesn't kill you. The way that the polls work, its better to lose early than late.

Glad to see UF not fall too many places. That was just a hard fought game between two pretty even teams on Saturday.

Georgia will need to face some more quality teams before I say that they're NC material, but they're a darn good team. That is going to be quite a game in October between UF and UGA.

Is it just me or does Virginia seem like the quiet team in a tough conference we may be talking about in a couple weeks?

After the host Miami, a lot of people will be talking about them.
