IN the baseball encyclopedia it only shows the Wolverines from 1881-1889 or so.

The Tigers started in 1901. I see no Detroit Creams though Ernie Harwell would probably know better than the encyclopedia.

And weren't they in the NL? (Wolverines) I seem to remember reading that somewhere.
