Yes, he was horrible. Every single pitch he would step out and adjust everything. It wasn't like Nomar either, he did it at a snails pace.

Johnny Leonard Roosevelt Martin was called "The Wild Hoss of the Osage" by newspaper writers in St. Louis. The fans called him Pepper Martin. Once again the common fan proving himself far smarter than the ink-stained wretches.

This is the toughest list so far. I only know a few:

Duke of Flatbush - Duke Snider

Big Poison - Lloyd Waner

Louisiana Lightnin' - Ron Guidry

Big Train - Randy Johnson (guess)

Wahoo Sam - Sam Crawford (another guess)

I've heard Little Napoleon, but can't remember who it referred to..The rest, I don't think I've ever even heard. :)
