If you interested in the draft pick watch the Bengals got blown out and it looks like the Falcons are about to lose too so were not going to pass them.  So as of now the best case scenario is the 5th pick.

its better than 13th!

its a joke.  and jalen hurts went to bama before transferring....

Hurts was my first thought.  I think he’s a better QB than Tua.  I still don’t understand what the attraction was for a guy who had an injury like that.

If Miami had stuck with Fitzpatrick they’d be in the playoffs.

Parsons would be amazing.  This team has needed a quality LB for a long time.

Still 7th as of now but could move up to 5th or 6th depending on what Houston and Philly do later.  Houston is at Tennessee so that will likely be a loss but Philly is playing Washington, I could see them potentially taking that one.

I cant believe Chad Henne is still in the league.  Off to a good start today starting for the Chiefs who are resting a bunch of guys including Mahomes.

Tua is garbage

his delivery is like Byron Leftwhich / Watson that big looping throw - minus the big arm.

He legit is trash.

I still think the Okudah pic might be the right pic rookie CBs always struggle.

I wanted Isiah Simmons and he hasn't done squat this year either although he did heat up near the end of the season.

I’m dead set in taking a WR.  One of chase, smith or waddle will be available.   That’s what I want to see the lions do.  Then rounds 2-4 all defense.

My mind was blown when I saw somebody named Henne playing for the Chiefs. I just assumed it was his son haha.

Taking a receiver that high is dumb unless he's a generational talent which I think Smith might very well be so I'm with you on that.

Otherwise, Parsons is the guy I'm highest on or one of the QBs since I doubt that Stafford will be here long.

I agree with you on WR, usually. All 3 of these guys are next level.  Fields drops, that would be fine too. I think stafford would yield a 2nd or 3rd rd pick.  So draft a qb and then use your 2 second rounders on defense.  We will see what the priorities are after free agency.

But before all of that, let’s see who is running this here program.

If Fields magically drops, the Lions should be all over that.

I'm starting to think that Stafford might return a 1st, from a contender like the Colts or Saints. He showed well this season, I think contenders would pine for a QB like him. IT all depends on what the Lions mentality is going into the draft. If they aren't taking a QB then they're keeping Stafford unless they do something dumb like trade for a broken and very expensive Wentz.

Drew Stanton was signed earlier in the week to backup Brady today and was in uniform for the Bucs.

can we take a minute and comment on just how bad Tua is?  miami needs to win to make the playoffs and the superstar qb is 21-41 with 3 interceptions, one of them a pick 6!

i guess its a double edged sword.  if the lions had picked tua and played him all year they would DEFINITELY have had a shot at trevor lawrence this year!

Yeah Tua definitely has not looked good.  Come to think of it as good as Alabama has been the past decade or so and has good of NFL players as they put out there they really haven't had many great if any NFL QBs that I can think of so perhaps Saban and Co. just make them look better than they actually are.

I could see Washington being interested. If they make the playoffs, their pick will be a mid first. I could see Snyder and Rivera wanting a veteran QB.

Wentz has the connection to Reich and would probably cost less so he makes sense for the Colts.

Stafford would light it up in that Saints offense. I know he didn't look good when Lombardi was the offensive coordinator in Detroit but I could see Payton turning him loose.

If wentz came to the lions I’d quit.  I couldn’t take that misery.  Fields dropping does seem like a pipe dream.  But maybe the jets fall in love with Zach Wilson.

ive now seen two mock drafts having the lions take Kwity Paye.  How the **** is Paye considered a top 10 pick?  One mock has Paye has high as 4 to the falcons.  That’s wrong.

Texans score 20 straight points and now lead 35-31.  Texans pick goes to the dolphins.  Amazing how bad Bill O’Brien the GM was.
