oh, you mean schneider's contract is up soon and he's looking for a raise?  wow, what a coincidence that this report suddenly pops up in the news feed of an nfl reporter who gets his scoops from agents!

hmmmm...

Since there's no game thread I figure I'd comment here.  That Tracy Walker penalty may be one of the worst I have ever seen.  Seriously how on Earth is that a roughing the QB?

I was just about to say the same thing. Pathetic officiating. Just pathetic.

can we take a minute and comment on just how bad Tua is?  miami needs to win to make the playoffs and the superstar qb is 21-41 with 3 interceptions, one of them a pick 6!

i guess its a double edged sword.  if the lions had picked tua and played him all year they would DEFINITELY have had a shot at trevor lawrence this year!

Yeah Tua definitely has not looked good.  Come to think of it as good as Alabama has been the past decade or so and has good of NFL players as they put out there they really haven't had many great if any NFL QBs that I can think of so perhaps Saban and Co. just make them look better than they actually are.

We should take a moment to recognize how much better Justin Herbert is and yet everyone still wishes the Lions would have drafted Tua. Sheila should have intervened and demanded the Lions draft Tua.

I can't even think of many Alabama QBs that were high draft picks outside of Tua.

I don't want them to win today but that non-catch call against Marvin Jones should result in fraud charges being pressed against the NFL.  The Lions should sue.  Not even joking, they should sue over that.  That's an agenda call.

Starting to think that the Ref either has money on the Vikings or is a Lions fan and wants them to get a better pick.

Guess I was meaning recently as in under Saban. Hurts was also drafted out of Oklahoma and a 2nd round pick.

Why would the Lions have to offer compensation? According to the article, the Lions could offer him a higher position than what he has in Seattle.

He is still under contract with Seattle. They didn't allow him to go to Green Bay in 2018.

The Lions defense is playing, so there is little chance they can stop Minnesota.

If you interested in the draft pick watch the Bengals got blown out and it looks like the Falcons are about to lose too so were not going to pass them.  So as of now the best case scenario is the 5th pick.
