The defense looks lost, even more than usual. Matty P the defensive genius folks.................

Checked out.   Coach is checked out,   Players have checked out.      I think they'll be fired on Friday, even if they win.    Or has Sheila checked out too?

Fans are checked out...............and that's worse than angry fans.  Far worse.

Can we do another Millen Man March via Zoom this time? I think Sean Baligian and WDFN organized the last one back in 2006 or whenever it was.

simmons had a good game the other day but has looked very much like a rookie drafted on athletic ability: lost.

brown hasn't been any great shakes either as carolina's defense has been rather poor against everyone but detroit.

tua was benched yesterday too.  and also dinged up.  herbert looked good against the jets but had been having a rough time of it lately before then.

maybe the most successful guy the lions passed on was justin jefferson.  he's tearing it up for minnesota.

the most successful draft pick for the lions last year was chase young considering his stupid roughing the passer penalty moved the lions into field goal range and allowed them to beat washington...

Let’s be fair to all these guys including Okudah.   This was a rookie year unlike any other.  No off-season OTA’s, limited time at the facility, shortened camp and no preseason.   Everyone has had their development stunted by the virus.    Hard to judge these guys too much especially trying to compare them to what rookies have come in and done in previous years.

yup.  you could say that for rookies most years, but ESPECIALLY this year.

I wouldn't waste my time or energy on this team - not even on Zoom.

For those saying that the Lions are years away from competing I just want to say that the current Dolphins are proof how quickly things can change in this league with the right coaching.  Week 4 last year people were suggesting that the Dolphins could be the worst team of all time, particularly after they traded Tunsil and Minkah Fitzpatrick.   They looked TERRIBLE.  But the coaching staff coached up the guys they had and they finished strong last year, added a few guys in the offseason and are 6-4 this year, right in the playoff mix despite not getting great QB.  That's what great coaching can do for you.
