As good as season as Giolito is having, you don't see pitchers that hot just fall apart like that very often.

guy was at 30+ pitches in the inning at over 100 total. Morris may have liked it but that was pretty cruel managing in my book.

The crowd seems to still be in the game and excited even though they’re down three runs

I would like to hear Jack intone on what you do when you’re pitching a great game and you have to sit for 20 minutes while your team scores runs

That would be a good point to riff on.

Gosh darn it, I can’t watch any more of this because I have a 930pm softball game I have to go to now. First game of the fall season. Bad luck.

This tiptoeing around a guy that has five no hit innings is kind of ridiculous.

They’re talking about it right now he sat 30 minutes and it’s about focus repeatability but he does have a lead

Its funny I'm so used to Tigers starters being out by the 4th inning this felt like it was the 7th or 8th.

It would’ve been nice if it got the no-no. I remember watching the first game of the week in ‘84 when Jack threw a no-hitter — yes against the White Sox — and it would’ve been great for Jack to be able to call Casey’s no no. i’m sure he was thinking about it.

Someone tell Shep he’s allowed to talk even after something bad happens to the tigers.
