Gardy just said that Tigers fans will be happy with who is getting called up.  Has to be Tork, Greene or Daz.  Where would they play Tork? Put him at 3B and move Paredes to OF?  I doubt this.  I don’t think Daz is that compelling for most Tiger fans.

Riley Greene is coming up, peeps.

Not sure if it’s bad luck or just plain douchy to quote yourself, but both Petry and C-Mo believe it will be Greene.

Who has been a bigger disappointment, the Brewers or the Reds?

Boy, Jeimar has been a real surprise.  That's just the kind of find this organization needs if he can keep it up.  Have to give Avila credit for that one.

Who knew that the easiest team to fleece out of prospects in the league would be the Cubs?

Maybe they would actually like to win. Maybe that actually counts for something and getting into the playoffs would be one way of salvaging the best thing available in this bad world.

Exactly! At least three teams totally pantsed them on trades, none worse than the Yankees.

He just looked out of place in his last SO and I noticed a defensive replacement right away so not surprised.   Gardy just said "move will excite fans" so I'm thinking Daz.

Stewart must've really ticked Gardy off. As bad as he is, as a hitter he's still better than Demerite, Parades and certainly Derek Hill. And Alcantara is too new to rate. The big question is, will they start showing the Christen Steward commercial in Toledo now?

I immediately thought of Tork as the person to be called up but I suppose it could be Greene. Daz would not be "fun".

Has Hill even hit a foul ball yet?

Yeah. He had a foul ball over the weekend, maybe two. Dude's totally over matched. Too bad.

Probably hasn’t helped that he’s received one AB per game, but agree that he doesn’t look good so far.

I thought this would be the Red’s year.  They made a lot of offseason moves and their offense looked good, especially hitting in their ballpark.  With the exception of hitting a ton of HR’s, their offense looks underwhelming now.

The Reds were doomed the moment the schedules came out and they had to open the season with the Tigers.

I’d be happy to see Matt Manning.

Isn't he shut down for the year?

Maybe they've reacquired Verlander?

Not yet—that will happen in the 2021 offseason

Probably true.  With Schoop likely day-to-day at best, they are down to no reserve IFs.  Stewart out  leaves them with 1 reserve OF.

if that's true, then Gardy is a bigger doucher than I thought.  I doubt any Tiger fans, outside of this nerdatorium, would know who he is and would not constitute as "exciting."

I am not even sure casual fans would be that excited by Greene.  For Gardenhire to single someone out, my first guess would be Torkelson.  It is hard to believe they would call someone up with no minor league experience though.  So, it will probably be Greene.
