Why are they playing night games?

Morris actually seems to be getting better.  Craig, not so much.  But at least now we don't have to suffer through Johnny Kane in the stands with the fans.

That's what Morris said.

The results of the games would never leak out ahead of time.

I disagree. We’ve already exposed the fake science contending that vaccines are beneficial,, that COVID-19 is a real disease, and that global warming is happening. I’m certain the scores would leak out even if the deep state and the MSM tried to prevent it because the truth always triumphs.

What?! If they can tape and delay fake moon landings they certainly can tape delay fake baseball games.

There is no moon, it's just a projection that the elite put up in the sky to distract us.  Wake up!

Because of Television

Having thought this further through, I'm certain that is at the root of it.  But I don't believe that it's because the owners give a hang about when fans get off  work.

Some time ago when I was reading up on blackout restrictions, I came across an example of ESPN's  agreement to broadcast Sunday night games .

In that  agreement, the start time of the game was specified.

So, I would expect that similar requirements are in place for the other carriage contracts (with disclaimers for weather, and other force majeure type protections).

With the whole can of worms that MLB had to go through just to have a season this year,  the prospect of having to open up the television contract for renegotiation, likely looked like an obstacle better off avoided.

Perhaps an unfortunate shame, since the cost of lighting up those stadiums  needlessly , has to be considerable.

I believe that if the games were scheduled to start at a time  that assured there  (typically)  would still be a couple innings left to play when broadcast time started,.. the problem of "leaking out game  results"  impacting viewership could be avoided.
