Isaac Paredes called up. Dawel Lugo dfa.

Tarik Skubal will start Tuesday, Mize on Wednesday.

Do does that mean they get a full season of service time, or has that date passed?

And I'm glad. Let's start ushering in the future

I thought Lugo's audition would be short. So have we passed the Super two deadline or is Avila surprising us?

Just waiting for the comments "Avila is so stupid to waste a year of service time on a season that will probably be cancelled early anyhow.  Not only that but to not wait until the Super 2 deadline has passed.  What a waste of $"

Odds are they will come from the same people who were saying how not calling them up earlier would cause no draft picks to want to sign with the Tigers.

They have to start infusing the talent that is ready. I'm more pumped now than when they finally jettisoned Brad

It's good to have something to get excited about for the first time in years.  I have never paid much attention to the service time stuff.  When a player is ready, I want him brought up, especially pitchers.

Yes I am not concerned with service time, one way or the other.  I am happy about all 3 of these moves, especially Skubal.

No one knows, because it’s a number that changes every year. We won’t know what it is until winter 2022.

It’s also unclear whether or not that number will be calculated the same way that year. The CBA could change super 2 qualification. And with so many players being called up at weird times this year and getting almost 3 days for every actual day they are up, it is almost impossible to know.

Can't remember the last time I've been this excited for a prospect's debut.  Probably either Porcello's debut against Toronto I believe or Maybin's in NY.

Finally a good look for the organization

Everyone can see that optics are taking precedence this year.

It's all about the optics.

Paredes today, Skubal tomorrow, and Mize Wednesday, I believe.

Edit

Sorry, superflous.

Gotta minimize the bad looks.

Remember when the news came out that the tigers were partnering with a gambling company? What a bad look.

Similarly, remember when MLB agreed to forward lineups to the sportsbooks prior to them being made public? Really bad look.

Have a much better chance of draft picks signing with us now.

Excellent point. That’s the kind of benefit you get when you maximize good looks.

What's with the expiration dates on floss?

I buy all my goods in bulk past the expiry date. Got me to switch to almond milk, as it doesn't solidify

As a bad looking individual, I had no idea how much the bad looks were hurting me.

your modesty is annoying.

some people here are too young to remember your career as a model.  no one dominated a catwalk quite like biggs.
