Shame we are getting Celtics-Raptors in round 2.  That should be the conference finals.

On that note, can you imagine if Doncic called him a ***** *** black boy? The outrage would be beyond belief. Of course it's crickets when the roles are reversed. The only real mention of it was a really insightful video by Jay Williams calling out the hypocrisy of it all, good for him to call it out as a black man himself.

How about that Donovan Mitchell? People were starting to trash the guy because he had a down year and now he's playing at an MVP level when it really counts. Good to see

It's been a joy watching Luka in these playoffs.  Dirk retires and Dallas is right back in the mix again.

Mitchell has been outstanding and efficient at the same time...too bad everyone knew he was the pick except Stan.

In almost every statistical category Mitchell had his best season, so absolutely nobody ripped him for having a down year.

People do rip him because this is sort of what he does.  Goes off against bad competition and when faced with improved teams,  he ****s the bed.

His rookie year he was fantastic against OKC and was the reason Utah beat the Thunder.  Then against Houston in round 2 he shot under 30% from the floor and three.  Houston again last year in the first round, he shoots 32/25.

Denver is missing their two best perimeter defenders in Barton and Harris.  Both are starters and both are above average to very good  on defense.  Mitchell is feasting on those circumstances as he should.  But who cares if he repeats history and shoots 30/30 again next round when the competition improves.

I wouldn't call Denver "bad competition". They are weak defensively, as a lot of teams are nowadays, but it's not like anybody can do what Mitchell is doing. He's a bit up and down but he's an elite player when he's on his game and SVG should feel bad, very bad.

If they close out Denver, I'll be very interested to see how he does against teams with perimeter length and/or shot blockers down low like the L.A. teams.

Denver isn't good.  40% of their starting lineup isn't playing.   Those two starters are the ones who would be guarding Mitchell 100% of the time.

Now we get to watch MPJ, who is great on offense, get benched because they constantly target him in the PnR and he can't do anything to defend it.

i wish the pistons had a player who could score 51 points in a non-drew league game.

This is why the Knicks unloaded him for a small return.  I don't know if he will ever be healthy.  This isn't even the knee he tore the ACL on.

He’s knee ligament is about as solid as Christin Stewart’s approach at the plate with two strikes.

If I’m being honest I probably could’ve named at least half of their current lineup

Seeing whispers on Twitter about the possibility of players not playing due to the shooting in Wisconsin.

I doubt it ever happens but interesting to think about.

the lions called off practice today.

if these protests result in the lions not playing, it will have all been worth it.

The 3 month layoff helped a lot of tired legs.

I think some of these numbers being put up will stick out like a sore thumb compared to other seasons.

Dallas down 30 and Luka looks awful.  If I'm Dallas I am looking to move him to Detroit before his value craters.

When/If they get a few legitimate players around that guy...look out NBA.

I read Dallas has a max contract slot for 2021.  It will be really interesting to see what they can do with that.  That is supposed to be a talented FA class and I would guess Dallas would be a nice landing spot for someone.
